Summer is already in full swing in Disney World. The crowds have arrived, the heat is on, and the sun is shining bright. If you’re heading to Orlando to experience all of the magic for yourself, be sure to stay hydrated! As a reminder, there’s something new to discover in each of the four theme parks this season. You’ll want to take advantage of the 4-Park Magic Ticket so you can experience it all too!

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station
Speaking of new, have you been over to see the new Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station yet? While the attraction used a virtual queue during its opening week, that virtual queue is now gone. Now, you can meet Bluey and Bingo, join in on a game of Magic Asparagus or Keepy Uppy, and have the ultimate dance party with only a standby line. Of course, most of this entertainment is geared towards kids. However, Disney Adults can definitely join in on the energy and excitement of Bluey! If you’ve never watched the show, it’s highly entertaining for all ages (including adults). You can stream Bluey on Disney+, watch on YouTube, or view it on your Disney Resort room’s TV.

When the party’s over, Conservation Station has even more to explore. Check out the Animal Nutrition Window, Veterinary Treatment Room, and Amphibian, Reptile, and Invertebrate Windows. As a lifelong lover of kangaroos, I absolutely loved the new Jumping Junction habitat!

Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures to commemorate your adventures with Bluey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! You can (and should!) take awesome pictures using your own camera over at Bluey’s Wild World. I also want to encourage you to stop for some special Bluey-themed Magic Shots from Disney PhotoPass! Note: there are currently no PhotoPass photographers over at Conservation Station. You will find these Magic Shots elsewhere in the theme park. Let’s talk about the Magic Shots you can get, and where to find them!

Bluey Magic Shots
Taking photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer is a convenient way to get everyone in your group into the picture. That’s just one of the reasons the MouseHouseNews.net team loves Disney PhotoPass! In addition to standard photos in front of park icons or special scenery, PhotoPass photographers may sometimes offer to give your pictures a bit of extra magic. These Magic Shots involve digitally adding special backgrounds or characters into your photo. You’re not always going to know what special character or element is going to join you in the picture. The surprise is half of the fun though!

Bluey’s arrival at Animal Kingdom has been one of the most anticipated events of the summer. Along with the new experience at Conservation Station, you’ll now find additional Bluey merchandise, themed snacks, and three new Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots. As someone who loves collecting photo memories and actively seeks out Disney PhotoPass locations, I was instantly intrigued. During a recent visit to Disney World, I took the time to stop by one of the specified PhotoPass locations for these Magic Shots. I wasn’t disappointed… they look so fun!

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can currently find these Magic Shots at the following locations:
- at the park entrance (in front of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom sign)
- next to the Discovery River on the pathway between Africa and Asia
But Wait…There’s More!
From there, I continued on with my magical journey around Disney World. While I was at Magic Kingdom, I decided to do the Super Zoom Magic Shot. After taking the main images, the PhotoPass photographer had me move to a different spot. He then started giving me additional posing instructions. Imagine my surprise when that sense of déjà vu hit. I realized I was being instructed to do the same posing I had done for the Bluey Magic Shots in Animal Kingdom! While not guaranteed, it is possible that you may receive the Bluey Magic Shots at other Disney World theme park locations too. Hooray!

Don’t Be Afraid To Be A Little Silly
I’m going to make a bold assertion: you’ll never regret taking a moment to stop for an iconic photo in The Most Magical Place On Earth. Sometimes the posing instructions for Magic Shots may leave you scratching your head and wondering what the final product will be. You may be traveling with a group who doesn’t want to stop for every photo. Not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera. “Hakuna Matata” (it means no worries…). Live in the moment. Everyone is there to have fun, just like you are. Don’t be afraid to really ham it up when told to act surprised, do a little dance, etc. Magic Shots really do add some extra magic into those memories! To download and save all of the PhotoPass photos from your trip for one set price, you may want to consider purchasing Memory Maker. You can also purchase photos individually.
