Sip Your Way Through The Joffrey’s Summer Days COFFEE Challenge

Hello, fellow coffee-loving Disney enthusiasts! Here on the blog, we’ve been shouting from the rooftops about all of the exclusive experiences for Annual Passholders during V.I.Passholder Summer Days. There’s merchandise (if you can find it), a new Passholder Magnet, a special character meet and greet, the Passholder Lounge, and more. One thing I have been anticipating the most is the Annual Passholder Coffee Challenge from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company. I’m proud to announce that I was able to complete the challenge last week. Today, I want to share more about this summer challenge, how to participate, and my journey to completion. I hope my experience convinces you to give it a try for yourself!

Summer Days Coffee Challenge Explained

The V.I.Passholder Summer Days Challenge is available to Annual Passholders through July 31, 2026. Completing the challenge requires visiting all four theme parks plus Disney Springs. Each location has its own featured beverage. You must purchase one of each participating beverage and collect a stamp for each purchase to earn a reward. Prizes are available while supplies last. Here’s how it works:

My completed stamp card
  • Start your challenge by visiting a Joffrey’s theme park location and picking up a stamp card.
  • Show this stamp card each time you purchase a participating beverage at subsequent locations. Don’t forget to collect your stamps!
  • Visit each location and purchase the Passholder-exclusive beverage. You will need to show your Annual Pass (with expiration date) at each Joffrey’s location you visit. You can find this information under “My Tickets & Passes” in the My Disney Experience app.
  • Once you’ve collected the stamps from all five locations, visit Joffrey’s in Disney Springs at The Landing for your prize.

As you may have seen on the MouseHouseNewsNet YouTube channel, the prize for the summer challenge is a super cute Disney-themed Joffrey’s beverage sleeve. It features the same monorail artwork found on the back of the stamp card.

The theme for the Summer Days Coffee Challenge is cereal-inspired cold brews and lattes. Each beverage is topped with a different kind of cereal!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

  • Forbidden Mountain Cold Brew (inspired by Expedition Everest) – A “legendary” cold brew with honey syrup and a splash of cream, with whipped cream and honey cereal on top. Visit the Joffrey’s location in the park’s Asia section for this one. Spoiler alert: this one was my favorite featured beverage!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

  • Rockin’ Cold Brew (inspired by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets) – You’ll be requesting an encore of this “electric” cold brew with chocolate and peanut butter flavors and a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and chocolate peanut butter puff cereal. I grabbed mine at the Joffrey’s in Pixar Plaza.

EPCOT

  • Parisian Pebble Cold Brew (inspired by Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure) – Say “oui” to fruity cereal-flavored cold brew with a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and fruity cereal. You can find this drink at any of the Joffrey’s locations inside EPCOT. I purchased mine at the Joffrey’s near Connections Eatery, so I could sip on it while waiting to ride Guardian’s of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Magic Kingdom

  • Lucky Star Cold Brew (inspired by Disney Starlight) – The “dreamiest” cold brew with toasted marshmallow syrup and a splash of cream, topped with whipped cream and sweetened cereal with fluffy marshmallows. You’ll find this one at the Joffrey’s location in Tomorrowland.

Disney Springs (The Landing)

  • Cinnamon Crunch Latte – Iced latte with cinnamon, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon square cereal. If you’re a fan of cinnamon sweetness, this will be the perfect end to your journey!

Overall Thoughts

While chatting with the Joffrey’s Barista in Disney Springs, I asked if she had heard which beverage is the fan favorite. There didn’t seem to be a clear winner yet, so it will be interesting to hear what the masses think in the end. What surprised me was hearing that some people were purchasing (and presumably consuming) all five beverages in the same day. That’s certainly dedication! Personally, I’ll stick to one or two per day, max.

Overall, I enjoyed most of the drinks. The cereal-inspired recipes added to the fun, summery theme. The main improvement I think could be made is to have more cereal on top. Unfortunately, most of my drinks only had the slightest sprinkle. As I mentioned earlier, my personal favorite was the Forbidden Mountain Cold Brew. It had the perfect level of honey sweetness that didn’t interfere with the smoothness of the cold brew itself. This drink was also the only one in which I could successfully eat the cereal topping, but your mileage may vary. The Forbidden Mountain was an ideal pick-me-up for a burst of energy during Early Theme Park Entry at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

You can earn a Passholder coffee sleeve by completing the challenge

Beat the Summer Heat

Whether you grab your coffee first thing in the morning or enjoy it later in the day, why not explore these unique seasonal beverages and get rewarded along the way? The coffee sleeve is definitely going to come in handy keeping hands dry from sweating cups during the summer heat!

Speaking of the summer heat, remember to stay hydrated. You can get complimentary cups of water from most Disney quick-service locations. Passholders can also stop by the Annual Passholder Lounge in EPCOT for a water station, snacks, and plenty of air conditioning!
