The countdown to newness is on! We’re only ten days away from May 26, 2026. If you’ve been following MouseHouseNews.net, you know that multiple new experiences will be available beginning that day. Experiences include the opening of Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the debut of Soarin’ Across America in EPCOT. Over in Magic Kingdom, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue will take over The Diamond Horseshoe. Last but certainly not least, The Muppets will officially take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios. As you can see, there’s something new in each of the four Disney World theme parks. Let’s get this party started!
Unveiling the (Electric) Mayhem
MouseHouseNews.net has several articles dedicated to what we know about the re-theme of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster including the song list, changes to the queue and pre-show, and celebrity cameos. Ultimately, fans of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be happy to hear that the ride system itself isn’t changing. You’ll still get the same high-speed launch, inversions, and dark ride thrills. At the same time, Muppets fans will be excited to see favorite characters have found a permanent home in Hollywood Studios, complete with the usual hilarious antics.

The ride is holding previews for various groups beginning this weekend. Annual Passholders will be able to join a virtual queue on May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd for a chance to experience the re-theme. When the ride officially opens to the public on May 26th, it will be operating with only a standby line. It will be interesting to see the wait times when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets becomes available. Remember: new theme + summer crowds + overall curiosity = guaranteed long lines.
What About The FØØD?
Along with the re-theme of the ride itself, comes a revamp of the general area. This includes a new paint job for exterior features like the inverted car at the ride’s entrance and the iconic giant guitar outside the building. Another update is the new snack stand coming. Allow me to introduce: FØØD by Swedish Chef!
What could be more delicious than delicacies created by the eccentric culinary genius, Swedish Chef? We may not always know what he’s saying, but the food can speak for itself. Let’s take a look at the newly revealed menu:

- Pink Le-moi-nade – Minutę Maid Premium Lemonade with guava, featuring a sprinkle of pink shimmer mixed in (featured at the top of the page)

Also on the menu are items including:

Get Ready for the Premiere
FØØD by Swedish Chef is expected to make its debut on May 26th along with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Come prepared with plenty of patience, because lines will almost certainly be long for everything in that general area. The good news is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s reopening will likely help ease lines throughout the park by lessening crowds at other attractions.

If you’re hungry for more, Hollywood Studios has plenty of other delicious snacks. MouseHouseNews.net recommendations include the Wookie Cookie at Backlot Express, the BBQ Brisket Melt from Woody’s Lunchbox, and the Caramel-Apple Pie Funnel Cake at Epic Eats. Stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net for more summer news from around Disney World. We’ll see you real soon!
