Virtual Queues Return For This NEW Animal Kingdom Experience

Virtual Queues Return For This NEW Animal Kingdom Experience

We’ve been shouting from the rooftops about all of the new experiences coming to Disney World in summer 2026. Changes include updated ride theming in both EPCOT (Soarin’ Across America) and Hollywood Studios (Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets), character meet and greets during Early Theme Park Entry, and the return of free water park admission on your Disney Resort check-in day (with both water parks open for business). However, that’s not all, my friends! One of the most anticipated new experiences coming to Disney World begins May 26th. That’s when Bluey will officially be at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

Basics of Bluey

Bluey is a beloved character from the Australian animated TV show of the same name. Bluey has become quite the worldwide phenomenon. The award-winning show itself centers around Bluey and her family engaging in imaginative play. The show was created for preschoolers, and kids definitely love it! At the same time, adults also appreciate the messaging, humor, curiosity, and joy of seeing imagination at work (and play). It’s highly entertaining. If you’ve never seen the show, definitely check it out! You can stream Bluey on Disney+, watch on YouTube, or even tune in on the TV in your Disney Resort room.

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station

Given Bluey’s popularity, it’s no surprise that Disney would eventually bring the Heeler family to Disney World. Soon, you’ll be able to meet Bluey and Bingo, play some games inspired by the show’s activities, and learn more about Australian animals at the new Jumping Junction habitat.

Fans of the Veterinary Treatment Room, Animal Nutrition Window, and the Amphibian, Reptile, and Invertebrate Windows will be happy to know that these experiences are all returning to Conservation Station. You can also see what Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment scientists are currently working on in the Science Center. Animal Kingdom places a huge emphasis on animal care, the environment, and conservation as a whole. Therefore, it’s quite fascinating to get a “behind the scenes” peek at some of Disney’s efforts around these topics.

The Return of the Virtual Queue

MouseHouseNews.net has previously discussed how Disney discontinued the regular use of virtual queues back in early 2025. However, Disney still occasionally uses virtual queues for line management during high demand ride openings and other experiences. As an example, Annual Passholders will soon be able to preview Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets using the virtual queue system. Now, Disney has announced that a virtual queue will be in place to experience Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. There will not be a standby line available for Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station during its initial opening period. However, Disney does expect to eventually offer a standby line for this experience. Stay tuned!

Guests will need to join the virtual queue in order to access Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. The virtual queue is required for all aspects of the experience including:

  • boarding the Wildlife Express Train (this is the only way to reach Conservation Station)
  • Jumping Junction
  • the Animal Care experiences
  • meeting Bluey and Bingo

Virtual Queue Distribution Times

Guests will have two opportunities each day to request to join the virtual queue:

  • You can request to join the virtual queue at 7:00am. For the 7:00am distribution, you do not need to be in Disney’s Animal Kingdom when joining. However, you will need to have valid admission and (if applicable) a theme park reservation to Animal Kingdom.
  • There will be a second virtual queue distribution at 10:00am. For the 10:00am distribution, you must be in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to request to join the virtual queue.

You can request to join the virtual queue in your My Disney Experience app. If you successfully join the virtual queue, you will see your boarding group number and an estimated call back time. The estimated call back time for your group may change. As a result, you’ll want to keep an eye on your app for updates. You will receive a notification when your group has been called.

Boarding groups look similar to this (this is from another event)

Disclaimer time: You can only join the virtual queue for this experience once per day. Due to high demand, there is no guarantee all boarding groups will be called to return. Also, it’s very important to be on time. If you arrive past your call back window, you may not be able to experience the attraction.

The Wildlife Express Train will take you to meet Bluey & Bingo!
