Just Like That, The Virtual Queues Have DISAPPEARED At Bluey’s Wild World

MouseHouseNews.net has detailed the appearance and disappearance of virtual queues around Walt Disney World. For quite a while, the virtual queues were a reliable mainstay around the parks. From Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, it was just a part of life. When Disney announced that an attraction debuting last week would open with a virtual queue, it was anyone’s guess how long it would stick around. Well, the virtual queue disappears today after just one week over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Getting into Bluey’s Wild World at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is about to become much easier. After debuting with a virtual queue system just days ago, Disney has officially announced that Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station will transition to a traditional standby line today. That means guests will no longer need to fight for boarding groups through the My Disney Experience app just to visit the wildly popular experience.

This Virtual Queue Quickly Disappeared

The virtual queue originally launched alongside the opening of Bluey’s Wild World on May 26th. Guests were required to secure a boarding group in order to ride the Wildlife Express Train to Conservation Station, where the Bluey-themed offerings are located. Now, guests can simply walk up and wait in a standby queue instead.

This is a major shift for parkgoers who may have missed out on the experience during its first week of operation. Disney’s Animal Kingdom visitors will now have far more flexibility when planning their day, especially those who may not want to stress over grabbing a virtual queue at exactly 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM.

Bluey Attracts The Crowds

Bluey’s Wild World has quickly become one of the hottest additions for kids and families at Walt Disney World this summer. While MouseHouseNews.net doesn’t usually cover experiences geared towards children, this one jumped on our radar due to the popularity of Bluey amongst Disney Adults as well. Located at Conservation Station, the experience includes interactive Bluey-themed entertainment, access to Jumping Junction, and animal care experiences tied into the area’s Australia-inspired refresh.

It’s Bluey and Bingo!

The initial virtual queue was likely implemented to help Disney manage demand during opening week, especially considering the limited capacity of the Wildlife Express Train and the overwhelming popularity of Bluey and Bingo. Even with the virtual queue in place, many guests still reported lengthy waits once arriving at Conservation Station.

Disney has not announced if they will add Lightning Lane access for the attraction. For now, standby will be the only way to visit beginning today. While you’re in a Bluey mood, don’t forget to enjoy some limited-time snacks inspired by Bluey around Animal Kingdom.
