New Passholder Magnet Highlights Woody and Buzz Lightyear
A brand-new Annual Passholder magnet is on the way to Walt Disney World Resort, and this one celebrates one of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved duos. Soon, Passholders will be able to pick up a limited-time magnet featuring Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
The collectible magnet highlights the iconic friendship between the sheriff of the Wild West and everyone’s favorite space ranger. Inspired by the classic Pixar film Toy Story, the design features characters that longtime fans will instantly recognize. Passholder magnets have become a popular tradition at Disney World, often celebrating beloved characters while giving Passholders a small souvenir that marks the moment.
A Limited-Time Perk for Passholders
This magnet will be available exclusively to Annual Passholders during this year’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. Guests typically pick up these magnets at a designated distribution location inside the park, where Passholders must present a valid Annual Pass and photo ID to receive one. Disney has not yet announced where the distribution location will be.
Disney frequently rotates magnet designs throughout the year, making each release a bit of a collector’s item. Previous magnets have spotlighted characters across Disney, Pixar, and even classic park icons, which means many Passholders make it a point to grab each new design before it disappears.
A Nod to Pixar’s Iconic Duo
Few friendships in animation are as memorable as the one between Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Since debuting in Toy Story, the pair has appeared in multiple sequels and remains a cornerstone of Pixar storytelling. Of note, Pixar is celebrating its 40-year anniversary this year, so it’s no wonder Disney is highlighting this celebration. You may recall that there are a number of Pixar topiaries at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival this year as well.
The characters also have a strong presence at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where fans can step into the world of Andy’s backyard at Toy Story Land.

Passholder magnets may not seem like a big deal, but they have become one of the most fun perks of holding an Annual Pass at Walt Disney World Resort. The upcoming Woody and Buzz Lightyear design is likely to be another fan favorite, especially for guests who love Pixar nostalgia.
