Tis the season for specially-ticketed Walt Disney World holiday parties! Right now, you can scare up some fun with Mickey and friends at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Once the calendar flips to November, it’ll be time to jingle the nights away at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (where you can also do some Christmas shopping). So much to do, so little time. Our pal, Mickey, sure knows how to host magical parties!
So Much To Experience
These parties are jam-packed with festive entertainment, special character meet-and-greets, seasonal treats, and so much more. In general, you’ll have around 5-6 hours of party time.
It may seem like a lot on paper, but it goes by very quickly. To maximize your time and experience as much as possible, you’ll need to have at least a basic plan of what you want to accomplish.
A Quick Tip That Will Save Time
Today, I want to share a quick tip that could save you a lot of party time. If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that the MouseHouseNews.net team strongly recommends mobile ordering when available.
Mobile ordering is a convenient option offered by many quick service locations on Disney World property. Guess what? Some locations offer mobile ordering during the holiday parties. When the lines are long and time is short, it can be very handy!
Knowing Which Locations Offer Mobile Order
Mobile ordering is only available at select locations. Additionally, some locations that typically allow mobile ordering throughout the regular park day may not offer it during holiday parties.
You can refer to the party guide map for a list of locations that offer mobile ordering (just look for the mobile order symbol). It’s best to double-check for availability earlier in the evening, just in case you do have to stand in line to get those must-have treat(s)!
Additional Important Considerations
There are a couple of additional things to keep in mind about mobile ordering during holiday parties. First, this time-saving tip currently only applies to the parties occurring at Magic Kingdom (i.e. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party).
Secondly, there is a period of time between the end of the “regular” park day and start of the holiday party in which mobile ordering briefly becomes unavailable. Time slots will generally open back up for party guests once the official start time hits and day guests have exited the park.
An Example of How Mobile Ordering Saves Time
So, how can mobile ordering save time? I will give you a recent example. I attended a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in early September. Tops on my “must-do list” was to try the Cruella Cookie Sandwich from Pinocchio Village Haus. Unfortunately, the line to order was definitely scaaaaaaaarrrrry right after the first Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween parade of the night. Good thing mobile ordering was an option!
I simply placed a mobile order for the item I wanted. Then, I waited near the mobile order pickup area until I received the alert that my order was ready. After that, all I had to do was show the code to the Cast Member at the window to pick up my treat. I was off to find a spot to watch Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular in no time! Well, it did take a little time…they were quite busy, after all. However, the wait wasn’t nearly as long as it would have been if I had to stand in line to order. Still a win!
Some Parties Are Already Sold Out
Unfortunately, if you don’t already have a ticket for one of the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, you’re out of luck. All Halloween Party nights are now sold out. Keep an eye on MouseHouseNews.net next spring, as Disney’s Halfway to Halloween announcements will contain information about 2027 Halloween parties.
If you want to add some extra jingle to your late 2026 vacations, tickets are currently still available for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. You’ll likely want to purchase your ticket sooner rather than later, however. These parties also sell out!
