A MouseHouseNews.net WISHLIST For The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

EPCOT food fans, it’s almost time. We’re anticipating that Disney will reveal Global Marketplace menus any day now! After all, they’ve already released a peek of the Food & Wine Festival merchandise and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series lineup. As a reminder, the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival begins on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Therefore, with only about a week to go, I thought it’d be fun to share my wishlist of menu items I hope will return this year.

Before we get into my foodie wishlist, it’s disclaimer time. I am in no way guaranteeing these items will show up on menus for 2026. This is purely for fun (because I love sharing my experiences with you all). Stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net, because we will definitely share full menus once they are available!

Visiting the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival in 2025

What You WON’T Find On This List

I’ll start by admitting that not every dish I have tried at previous festivals has been a winner for me. Sometimes, a festival offering is something I am happy to have tried once (but would not order again). Other menu items have been dishes I didn’t enjoy at all for one reason or another. Finally, there have been times where a menu item sounded amazing, but turned out to be just “meh”. As a result, I’m not discussing any of those categories today. You only want to know the good stuff, right?

None of the items on my list ended up in this trash can

What You WILL Find On This List

Today’s list is composed of menu items that I would love to eat again. These are the dishes I have enjoyed at past festivals and would definitely order again if available. Call them my tried-and-true recommendations. We’re going to keep it short and sweet. When the menus are revealed, you can share in my triumph (or heartbreak). Let’s get started!

Delectable Dishes

Canada Pavilion

Cheddar and Bacon Soup served with a pretzel roll

The Fry Basket

Fry Flight – The variety of fries offered with the flight tend to change slightly each year. My favorite inclusion (that has shown up in multiple years) is the Sweet Potato Casserole Fries. Generally they’re topped with candied pecans and toasted marshmallow cream. Other elements that have been part of the topping in the past include cinnamon sugar or bourbon maple syrup.

The Fry Flight is a safe option, but usually has a flavor with a twist

Germany Pavilion

Schinkennudeln – pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese

Hawai’i

Hawaiian Rice Bowl – Spam, eggs, eel sauce, spicy mayonnaise, furikake

Save Room For Sweets

Hawai’i

Pineapple Cheesecake with passion fruit curd and macadamia nuts (although I really wish they would bring back the Passion Fruit Cheesecake with toasted macadamia nuts from previous years!)

The Pineapple Cheesecake replaced the Passion Fruit Cheesecake in 2025, but is also delicious

Spain

Basque Cheesecake with orange sauce

Delightful Beverages

Formerly at the Ireland Booth…Then at Festival Favorites…Where Next?

Irish Milk Shake – Guinness Stout, Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, and Vanilla Ice Cream

The Irish Milk Shake was tasty and cold on a hot Food & Wine Festival day

Germany Pavilion

Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen – This is a generic catch-all because each festival features a new variety, and I’ve enjoyed all of the ones I’ve tried. I recommend trying it even if you don’t typically consider yourself a “beer drinker”.

You will find me with a Tropical Mimosa at every Food & Wine Festival

Shimmering Sips

Tropical Mimosa – Sparkling wine and Minute Maid® Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice (that’s right, it’s a POG Mimosa!)

What Disney Has Confirmed So Far

Disney has given us a small taste (see what I did there?) of what’s to come. Although we don’t know full menus yet, there are a couple of dishes that have been confirmed for 2026. Here’s what we know is returning so far:

  • Grilled Bushberry-Spiced Shrimp Skewer with Sweet-and-Sour Vegetables and Coconut-Chile Sauce will be returning to the Australia booth
  • Kirschwasser Torte with Cherry-Brandy Buttercream, Fondant, Sugared Almonds, and Cherry Compote will be returning to the Alps booth
  • Street Corn-style Dumplings composed of Chicken Dumplings with Tomatillo Salsa Verde, Street Corn Salad, Cotija, Lime Crema, and Cilantro will be back at the Gyozas of the Galaxy booth

To cover my bases, I’ll point out that the three returning items are here for informational purposes. I haven’t actually tried these particular items, so I can’t personally speak to how good they are. Perhaps this will be the year I try them!

Let The Waiting Begin

Now, we patiently (or not-so-patiently) wait for the full list. In the meantime, I hope that my personal wishlist has inspired you. Fingers crossed my favorites return! In any case, we’re sure to have a plethora of tasty food and beverage to enjoy in 2026. As a reminder, we will have from August 27th through November 21st to taste it all, so you’ll have plenty of time to hop on the bus, Skyliner, monorail, or boat and make your way to EPCOT. Also, if you happen to be honeymooning at Disney World during this time, make your way over!
