Opulence. Luxury. Grandeur. When you think of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, elegance comes to mind. The Grand Floridian is just minutes from Magic Kingdom’s front gates via monorail or direct walking path. As one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts, it comes with a considerable amount of amenities.
Grand Floridian Dining Options
One of the things that sets Deluxe Resorts apart from other categories is the number of available dining choices. While you can count on every resort having at least a quick service location, the Deluxe Resorts feature multiple dining options on site. Grand Floridian has its own very impressive list of options:

- Gasparilla Island Grill (quick service)
- Citricos Lounge (lounge)
- Enchanted Rose (lounge)
- The Perch at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (lounge)
- Beaches Pool Bar & Grill (pool bar)
- Courtyard Pool Bar (pool bar)
- 1900 Park Fare (character dining buffet)
- The Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience (dining event)
- Grand Floridian Cafe (table service)
- Citricos (table service)
- Narcoossee’s (table service)
- Victoria & Alberts (table service)
- Private Dining (room service)
Grand Floridian Cafe
Today, we’re going to focus on Grand Floridian Cafe. There’s a temporary change coming soon that you’ll want to keep in mind if you are considering dining here. Grand Floridian Cafe will be closing for refurbishment effective July 20, 2026. The closure is expected to last through October 2026.

Temporarily Only Serving Brunch… At A New Location
The good news is, you can still make brunch reservations to enjoy Grand Floridian Cafe favorites like The Grand Floridian Cafe Signature Burger, Buttermilk-fried Chicken and Waffle, or Passionfruit Guava and Orange French Toast. If you do secure brunch reservations during the refurbishment window, make note of an important change in location! Although you’re still dining from the Grand Floridian Cafe menu, your meal will actually be served upstairs in the Citricos dining room.
Again, while this temporary location change is in effect, Grand Floridian Cafe is only offering brunch reservations. This arrangement works because Citricos is only open during dinner hours. As a result, the space is unused prior to 5:00pm. Obviously, once 5:00pm hits, Citricos opens for dinner service and must reclaim the space.

Dining Reservations
You’ll find plenty of reminders about this temporary arrangement on the Disney website pages for both locations. There are also alerts throughout the steps of the reservation process. Grand Floridian Cafe typically has plenty of dining availability. However, advanced dining reservations are still recommended to secure your spot. As a reminder, Disney Resort guests (and guests of other select hotels) can begin making dining reservations for the entirety of their hotel reservation (up to 10 days) starting at 60 days prior to check-in date.

A quick word about Citricos. The restaurant features decorative touches from Mary Poppins Returns and a delightful menu to match.
