Greetings, World Travelers! A trip around EPCOT’s World Showcase gives visitors the opportunity to learn about countries and cultures from around the world. There are many ways to immerse yourself in new cultures and traditions. You can interact with cultural representatives, experience shows and exhibits, enjoy delicious cuisine, and so forth. EPCOT is both entertaining and educational!
There is much debate about the “correct” strategy to enter World Showcase. Should you start in Mexico or in Canada? That is a topic we’ll leave for another day. Many people have very strong opinions, and discussions can get heated! Whether or not there’s a “right” way to do it, the news we’re sharing today may give Canada the edge.

O Canada!
The Canada pavilion is located on the northwestern side of World Showcase Lagoon. When coming from the front of the park, head to the right if you want to make Canada your first stop. The Canada pavilion features shopping, dining, and several forms of entertainment.
Shopping
- The main shopping locations in the Canada pavilion are the Canadian Trading Post and Northwest Mercantile. These connected shops can be found up the stairs, across from the totem poles. You can purchase Canada pavilion merchandise, hockey-themed items, hand-carved wooden items, Canadian Maple Syrup, and other goodies. You’ll also find plenty of buffalo plaid!
- There are also several kiosks located along the main pathway where you can find a variety of souvenirs including Canada pavilion merchandise, Minnie Ears, etc. Additionally, these kiosks have things like leather keychains, jewelry, plushes, and pins.

Entertainment
- If you’d like to witness some of Canada’s breathtaking scenery and learn a little bit about Canada’s traditions and culture, you won’t want to miss Canada Far & Wide in Circle-Vision 360. As you may have gathered from the name, images for the 12-minute documentary are projected all the way around the theater, encircling the audience. Just a word of warning, you do stand for the entirety of the presentation.
- You can also see renowned Canadian bands perform live on stage at the Canada Mill Stage. It’s a lively venue that constantly draws afternoon and evening crowds. Consequently, it can sometimes be a bit of a chokepoint to navigate at certain times of day (you’ve been warned…). Check your My Disney Experience app for details about current performers and showtimes.

Dining
- The main dining location for this pavilion is Le Cellier Steakhouse. Le Cellier is a table service restaurant where you can enjoy delicious steaks, Canadian cheddar cheese soup, a signature poutine, several delicious desserts (including Maple Creme Brûlée), and a selection of Canadian wines.
- The MouseHouseNews.net team highly recommends everyone stops by the Canada Popcorn Cart for some delicious, freshly-popped maple popcorn! Whether you grab a single serving, a souvenir bucket, or a refill, this sweet treat is the perfect snack during your EPCOT day. Personally, I like to pack some zipper storage bags in my park bag. This allows me to bring some maple popcorn home to enjoy even after my trip!

La Poutinerie Hosted by Air Canada®
Beginning July 1, 2026, EPCOT’s Canada Pavilion will be getting a new permanent quick service kiosk. La Poutinerie Hosted by Air Canada® will be taking over the spot formerly occupied by Refreshment Port. Refreshment Port closed back in January 2026 to make way for this rebrand. During its time as Refreshment Port, the location served traditional and seasonal poutine, ice cream, sweet treats, and a variety of beverages. It also typically offered special menu items as part of EPCOT’s seasonal festivals.

So, what do we know about the new location? First of all, the opening date is symbolic: July 1st is Canada Day. The location’s dishes are inspired by genuine Canadian poutines. In fact, Disney World Resort chefs traveled to multiple Canadian locations to gain inspiration for the new, authentically-rooted menu.
The Menu
La Poutinerie Hosted by Air Canada® will serve a couple of different poutines and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Here’s the full lineup:
Entrées:
- Québec: L’Authentique – French fries, cheese curds, brown gravy
- Montréal: Viande Fumée – French fries, cheese curds, smoked meat, pickles, mustard gravy

Beverages:
- Spiced Apple Slushy – Frozen ginger beer blended with lively lime and cozy spiced apple flavors
- Assorted Coca-Cola® Fountain Beverages
- DASANI® Bottled Water
- smartwater®
Alcoholic Beverages:
- Spiced Apple Mule – Frozen ginger beer blended with lively lime and cozy spiced apple flavors with Iceberg Canadian Vodka
- Molson Canadian Lager
- Jackson-Triggs Reserve Red Blend
- Unibroue La Fin du Monde Belgian-stye Tripel Ale
- Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut, Columbia Valley
What remains to be seen is whether La Poutinerie Hosted by Air Canada® will offer specialty menu items during EPCOT festivals. Since the Food & Wine Festival begins on August 27, 2026, we won’t have to wait too long to find out!
