REVIEW: New Out Of This World TREATS at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies

Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland is Buzzing (see what I did there?) with intergalactic fun at every turn. You can enjoy fan-favorite rides like Space Mountain, TRON Lightcycle/Run, and the newly revamped Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. How about meeting favorite characters like Chip ‘n’ Dale in their space cadet costumes or saying “aloha” to Stitch? In between your space adventures, you can fuel up with a variety of unique snacks and beverages from several futuristic snack kiosks and quick service locations.

Stitch is waiting to hang ten with you in Tomorrowland

Attention, Space Rangers! Are you ready for some new treats from one of the aforementioned futuristic snack locations? Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies serves up sweet treats including soft-serve, sundaes, and floats. Just in time for the June 19, 2026 release of Toy Story 5, Auntie Gravity’s has four new featured treats on the menu! The MouseHouseNews.net team recently tried three out of the four new items, and we’re ready to share our thoughts with you.

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies has 4 new drinks

Zurg Overload Shake

First up is the Zurg Overload Shake. The Zurg Overload Shake is a vanilla shake with cherry coating, marshmallow whipped cream, sprinkles, and a chocolate piece.

The Good

Visually, this was one of the most exciting items we grabbed. The vibrant red cherry coating actually lines the inside of the cup. When you pick it up/squeeze the cup, the coating crackles into the rest of the shake. This creates a cool marbling effect as it swirls into the vanilla shake. Red isn’t the only vivid color present, however. You can’t miss the purple whipped cream on top!

The Not-So-Good

The Zurg Overload Shake is pretty much a basic vanilla shake. Unfortunately, the same elements that make it look “cool” actually contributed to the reasons the MouseHouseNews.net team did not enjoy it. Let’s break it down:

  • First, the red cherry coating is impressive when it breaks and swirls into the shake. While it added a slight cherry flavor to the shake, the texture was the problem. The crackles actually maintained an almost sharp physical texture. This was not fun or pleasant to consume. It also tasted somewhat artificially cherry.
  • Let me start by saying that purple is my favorite color. While I thought the purple whipped cream on this shake added excellent theming, it did not taste great. Have you ever had a red food item that had a bitter taste from the food coloring used? Yeah, this was like that. Clearly the amount of food coloring used to achieve that awesome purple color impacted the flavor (and not in a good way).

The price of $9.29 made this shake the most expensive item we tried. Honestly, beyond looking cool, it definitely wasn’t worth it. It was difficult to overcome the bitterness of the whipped cream. Additionally, many shards of cherry coating remained in the cup even when we felt done with the shake. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Cherry Limeade Float

Let’s move on to the floats, shall we? Next up is the Cherry Limeade Float. It’s a simple treat consisting of DOLE Whip® Lime with Sprite®, grenadine, and a cherry.

As Refreshing As It Sounds

While definitely a basic treat, it was quite refreshing. If you’ve ever had a cherry limeade drink (from Sonic or a similar establishment), you know what to expect. The Sprite® plus grenadine was very refreshing. Thankfully, it was not sickly sweet or artificial-tasting. The Cherry Limeade Float is made with just DOLE Whip® Lime (without the vanilla swirl). The singular lime flavor added the perfect amount of tartness, exactly like a crisp limeade should be.

Cherry Limeade Float

The treat we were served had an almost half-and-half Sprite® to DOLE Whip® Lime ratio, which felt like a good balance for a float. I didn’t feel like I ran out of Sprite® long before DOLE Whip® with this one, which helped on the “refreshing” factor. At $6.49, this treat was the least expensive of the featured items. It felt like a good value for what we paid. Personally, I really enjoyed it!

Who Would Enjoy This Float

I would recommend it to someone who:

  • enjoys cherry limeade
  • wants something more basic and less themed
  • needs/wants a nondairy treat

Space Ranger Float

Finally, let’s discuss the treat that is, in my opinion, the star of the show: the Space Ranger Float. It’s made of DOLE Whip® Lime and vanilla soft-serve swirl, Sprite®, green apple pearls, sprinkles, and a chocolate piece.

There’s A Lot To Love

This treat reminded me a lot of the Peter Pan float that used to be at Storybook Treats (if you know, you know). The basics of that treat were Sprite® and DOLE Whip® Lime (without the vanilla swirl), so the Peter Pan float was definitely more citrus-forward. In contrast, the vanilla soft-serve swirl added a creaminess to the Space Ranger Float that tempers the tartness a bit. The green apple pearls enhanced the float’s bright green color while providing a bright sweetness to it.

Let’s discuss the theming of the drink for a moment. Visually, the color-scheme was definitely reminiscent of Buzz Lightyear. You have plenty of green from the DOLE Whip® Lime swirl and the green apple pearls. The colorful sprinkles (in purple, blue, black, and star shapes) plus Space Rangers chocolate piece tied everything together nicely.

One Thing To Beware

Now, the main negative: the majority of the cup was filled with DOLE Whip® Lime, to the point that it barely had any Sprite® in it. The Sprite® that was in there tried to fizz up and escape the cup when it was first presented to us, which caused quite the sticky overflow on the outside of the cup. Be prepared with some napkins! Your mileage may vary, but I wanted to point this out.

Overall, this is a very refreshing treat that I highly recommend if you like DOLE Whip® Lime! The price of $7.49 feels extremely reasonable. Since it’s not too sweet or heavy, the Space Ranger Float is the perfect treat for a hot summer day in Tomorrowland. Personally, I can’t wait to get it again.

The One We Didn’t Try

The featured item we didn’t get to try during our visit was the Churro Shake. Just for informational purposes, the Churro Shake is a vanilla shake topped with whipped cream, salted caramel sauce, and churro pieces. It sounds delicious! You can give it a whirl for yourself for $9.29 the next time you visit Auntie Gravity’s. We’ll keep you posted if/when the MouseHouseNews.net team gives it a try!
