Halloween just got real at Walt Disney World Resort.
Guests with Disney Resort hotel reservations can officially purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starting today, giving them a valuable head start on one of the most in-demand seasonal events of the year. As MouseHouseNews.net reported last week, this early access perk applies to guests staying at select Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, as well as other specific hotels including Swan and Dolphin and Shades of Green.

Early Access = Best Dates First
Let’s be real… this event sells out. Fast.
That’s why this early purchase window matters. Resort guests get first dibs on:
- Opening night (which tends to sell-out quickly)
- Prime October dates
- Halloween night itself
Sales for the 2026 party tickets officially opened today for Disney Resorts guests, with availability opening May 12th for all other guests. Translation: If you’re staying on property during Mickey’s Halloween shin-dig, today is your moment to lock in the dates you actually want during your visit to Walt Disney World… not just what’s left.

Mark Your Calendar: Next Week Gets Busy
For everyone else without a Disney Resorts reservation, your window opens next week. General public ticket sales begin May 12th and, historically, that’s when the real scramble begins. You can expect certain dates to disappear quickly at this point, including August 7th (opening night) and Halloween proper.
Get Your Tickets Before They’re Gone
If previous years are any indication, every single one of these dates will sell out. Although it’s only Halfway to Halloween, you’ll want to purchase your tickets sooner rather than later in order to lock in your spot. You can purchase tickets on Disney’s website. As a reminder, Passholders get a $10 discount per ticket on select dates!
