Go SOARIN’ Around The World One More Time Before The Rebranding

Change is in the air at EPCOT, and this one is coming in fast. No, I’m not talking about the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which continues through June 1st. I’m not even talking about the 2026 Food & Wine Festival, which we covered yesterday. This change involves a flight itinerary over at The Land pavilion and, if you want to travel around the world on this flight, you only have a couple of weeks left.

As MouseHouseNews.net previously reported, Soarin’ Around the World is closing on May 14th so it can be reimagined. For longtime visitors and first-time flyers alike, May 13th marks the last day you can take in the global journey as it exists today.

Final Boarding Call for a Global Classic

Since debuting at EPCOT, Soarin’ Around the World has delivered sweeping aerial views of some of the planet’s most recognizable landmarks. From the Great Wall of China to the Eiffel Tower, the attraction has blended immersive visuals, scent effects, and a soaring score into a ride that feels equal parts relaxing and awe-inspiring.

Starting May 26th, the flight simulation ride will officially re-open as Soarin’ Across America and feature all-new landmarks and landscapes to view while in-flight.

One Last Flight Before The Update

There is something special about experiencing a ride right before it changes. The current version of Soarin’ has built a loyal following over the years, even as fans have debated scene transitions and screen curvature quirks. Those imperfections have become part of its charm.

Disney Adults visiting over the next two weeks should expect higher demand, longer wait times, and a noticeable uptick in repeat riders trying to squeeze in one last flight.

We Saved You a Seat

To celebrate this O.G. version of the attraction, we captured a full ride-through video so you can revisit every moment anytime. Whether you are planning one final in-person ride or simply want to relive the experience from home, this video keeps the current version alive long after its final day.

Anyone planning a near-term visit to Walt Disney World should prioritize Soarin’ early in the day, during Extended Evening Hours, or during Disney After Hours. Availability will likely tighten as the closing date approaches.

The Bottom Line

Soarin’ Around the World is about to take its final bow in its current form. While only two weeks remain, the runway is still open. Those visiting Walt Disney World before May 14th just might be able to take that last ride around the world. MouseHouseNews.net is happy to bring you the above recording of Soarin’ Around The World for those times when you want a reminder of the current ride.
