Night owls, the time has come! More dates have been confirmed for the Extended Evening Hours benefit at Walt Disney World. For those who don’t already know, Extended Evening Hours is an exclusive benefit available on select nights at select theme parks to guests of Disney deluxe resorts and selected other hotels. With Extended Evening Hours, qualifying guests can stay in the park an additional two hours after park closing. This allows them to experience the park attractions with lower crowd levels and wait times. The park operating calendar is released a little bit at a time, and now we have the latest dates when Extended Evening Hours will be offered.

An Extended Evening Hours Alternative
If you would like extra time in a theme park without having to pay for a Disney deluxe resort, there is an alternative. Disney After Hours events are very similar to Extended Evening Hours, but slightly different.

The Disney After Hours Difference
Whereas the EEH events provide two extra hours in a theme park after park closing, Disney After Hours events provide guests with three extra hours in selected theme parks on select nights. Additionally, there are free snacks and drinks offered. Just like Extended Evening Hours, Disney After Hours provides access to reduced crowds (which also mean less wait times). In fact, the MouseHouseNews.net team recently recommended Disney After Hours over EEH. You should know, however, that as a tradeoff for not staying at a deluxe resort, you do have to pay for a per-person ticket to attend Disney After Hours events.

No matter how you choose to experience extra hours in the theme parks, you can’t lose! Nights in the theme parks tend to have more of a Disney Adult vibe than the daytime, and it is a magical way to see the parks.
