If Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is part of your Walt Disney World plans this holiday season, I hope you have been keeping an eye on ticket availability. MouseHouseNews.net reminded readers about the very possibility of the Christmas Party selling out recently. Well, several dates for the 2026 Christmas Party have now sold out, demonstrating why we sounded the early alarm. This is something we saw happen with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party selling out, as well as last year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you wait too long, the party date you want may no longer be available.
As of now, the following Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates are sold out:
- November 12, 2026
- November 24, 2026
- December 20, 2026
- December 22, 2026
December 20th and December 22nd are especially notable because they are the final two Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates of 2026.
The Sellouts Have Started
A handful of sold-out dates may not sound like a reason to worry when plenty of other party nights remain available. That is exactly the point. There is no reason to panic. There is, however, a reason to plan. We watched a similar pattern unfold with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. At first, only a few dates disappeared from the calendar. More sold-out dates gradually followed. Eventually, every 2026 Halloween Party sold out.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will follow a similar pattern as the holiday season gets closer. It happens every year. Disney Adults planning a December trip should pay particularly close attention. With the final two parties already sold out, guests hoping to attend later in the season have fewer options than they did when tickets first went on sale.
This Is A Warning, Not Fear-Mongering
Whenever MouseHouseNews.net talks about party dates selling out, our goal is not to create unnecessary urgency. We are not telling you to immediately purchase a ticket simply because other dates have sold out. A Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket is an additional expense on top of an already expensive Walt Disney World vacation. You should decide whether the event fits your plans and your budget.
Our message is much simpler: if you already know that you want to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, do not assume you can wait until the last minute to purchase your ticket. There is a big difference between taking time to decide whether you want to attend and delaying the purchase of tickets for an event you already know you want to experience. If your vacation itinerary only gives you one possible party night, waiting becomes an even bigger gamble.
Your Preferred Date Can Sell Out
One of the easiest mistakes to make is looking at the calendar, seeing plenty of available dates, and assuming there is still plenty of time. That may be true for the event as a whole, but it does not necessarily apply to your specific date.
Your Disney World vacation might only overlap with one or two Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights. A sold-out November 12th party does not help someone whose vacation ends November 13th. Likewise, having several parties available earlier in December does not help a guest arriving during Christmas week. Availability somewhere on the calendar is not the same thing as availability that works for your vacation. That is why MouseHouseNews.net will continue watching the Christmas Party calendar as the season approaches, and so should you.
If You Know You’re Going, Don’t Wait Too Long
Nobody needs to purchase a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket simply because some dates have sold out. However, if you have already made the decision that the Christmas Party is a must-do during your 2026 Walt Disney World vacation, there is little benefit to waiting. As a Travel Advisor, I would not want my clients to miss out.

Past years and parties have already showed us what can happen. If the party date during your upcoming visit sells out before you make your purchase, you’ll end up on the outside looking in. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets are limited, and sold-out dates are now appearing on the calendar. Be sure to make your purchase as soon as possible once you decide you want to go. The date you want will not remain available forever.
