Today, September 21st, every ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will feature “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Normally, part of the fun of Cosmic Rewind comes from not knowing which song you will hear when your Starjumper takes off. The attraction features multiple songs that can accompany your mission with the Guardians.
Today, there is no soundtrack lottery. If you board Cosmic Rewind, you are getting “September.” For Disney Adults like myself who already consider the Earth, Wind & Fire classic one of the best songs to experience aboard Cosmic Rewind, September 21st gives you a pretty good excuse to ride more than once.

The music is one of the reasons Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has so much replay value.
The attraction combines its rotating ride vehicles, reverse launch, massive indoor coaster environment, and Guardians storyline with music that can completely change the energy of a ride. Cosmic Rewind is Walt Disney World’s first coaster with a reverse launch, while the ride vehicles rotate 360 degrees to direct guests toward the action. Getting a different song can make two rides on the same day feel surprisingly different.

Disney is adding another limited-time offering to today’s celebration.
Today only, Connections Café and Eatery is serving up the Supernova Sip. This drink combines spicy hot honey syrup, lemon juice, edible glitter, and orange cotton candy. Guests 21 and older can also purchase a spirited version featuring Maker’s Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
Star-Lord is also meeting guests near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, giving fans another way to make today’s EPCOT visit a little more cosmic. Guests should check My Disney Experience for current appearance times.
Cosmic Rewind Fans Have A Good Reason To Visit EPCOT Today
Plenty of Disney attractions have traditions surrounding particular dates, anniversaries, or special occasions. September 21st gives Cosmic Rewind fans their own reason to celebrate.
