The creative side of Walt Disney World is getting even more time to shine in 2027.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will return to EPCOT from January 15 through March 1, 2027, giving Disney Adults even more opportunities to experience one of the resort’s most colorful and visually impressive festivals of the year.
The biggest change for 2027 is the calendar itself. The festival will run for 46 days, giving guests an additional week to experience the celebration compared with the 2026 event.
That extra week could make a big difference for Disney Adults planning winter and early-spring Walt Disney World trips, especially those who want to experience the festival without trying to squeeze everything into a shorter visit.
The Disney On Broadway Concert Series Returns
One of the signature experiences of the Festival of the Arts will once again take center stage in 2027.
The Disney On Broadway Concert Series will return to the America Gardens Theatre, bringing Broadway performers to EPCOT for performances featuring songs from Disney musicals. The 2026 series featured music from productions including Aladdin, Frozen, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Tarzan and Newsies.
The concert series is one of the festival’s biggest draws for Disney Adults who appreciate live entertainment. Performances are included with EPCOT admission, while Disney On Broadway Dining Packages offer guests a meal and guaranteed seating for a same-day performance.
Disney has not yet released the complete 2027 performer lineup, so there is more to come on that front.
Disney Lorcana Returns To EPCOT
The popular Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game will also return for the 2027 Festival of the Arts.
Disney Parks recently confirmed the return of Lorcana following its successful debut at the festival. The 2026 festival featured Lorcana activities including collection quests and larger-than-life trading cards positioned around EPCOT.
More details about the 2027 Lorcana activities are expected as Disney gets closer to the festival.
Beautiful Artwork Takes Over EPCOT
Of course, the artwork remains at the heart of the Festival of the Arts.
Guests can expect EPCOT to once again become a showcase for Disney-inspired artwork, with artists displaying their work throughout World Showcase. Previous festivals have featured Disney Fine Art, ACME Archives, The Art Brand Studios and other artists offering everything from character artwork to limited-edition pieces. There is also something especially cool about seeing artists creating their work right in front of guests.
From chalk artists creating colorful masterpieces to artists painting Disney characters in minutes, the festival gives guests an opportunity to watch the creative process instead of simply looking at the finished product.
Disney has yet to announce the complete 2027 artist lineup, but that information should give Disney Adults another reason to keep an eye on the festival as the event gets closer.
The Food Is Part Of The Art
The Festival of the Arts isn’t limited to paintings, performances and trading cards.
EPCOT’s Food Studios traditionally serve some of the most creative dishes of the Walt Disney World festival calendar, with culinary creations designed to look as impressive as they taste. Disney describes the festival as a celebration of art, entertainment and food, and previous Food Studios have featured everything from elaborate desserts to savory dishes with artistic presentations.
Disney has not announced the complete 2027 culinary arts menus yet, so there will be plenty more to discover as opening day approaches.
Mark Your Calendar For 2027
The 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs January 15th through March 1st, giving guests a longer window to experience the celebration than in 2026.
For Disney Adults, that extra week could be particularly useful. All you have to do is hop on the Disney Skyliner and ride over to EPCOT (just remember the Skyliner will be down at the end of January)!
