Imagine an exclusive nighttime experience in the Disney World theme parks. The parks aren’t crowded, lines are short, and you can ride the most popular attractions again and again with minimal wait times. What if I told you that all of this is possible without paying extra for a Disney After Hours event ticket?
If you are staying at one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts and Villas or select other hotels, you can once again take advantage of Extended Evening Hours in 2026. Extended Evening Hours allow guests of these resorts to stay in the parks for two additional hours after the parks close to all other guests. Lower crowds = less time waiting in line! In addition to select attractions, some merchandise and food/beverage locations are also available. However, unlike at Disney After Hours events, free snacks are not offered during Extended Evening Hours.
Extended Evening Hours are offered for specific parks on select dates. To take advantage of this event, you must have a valid theme park admission for the specific park on the applicable date. You must also stay at a select resort (or be checking out of a select resort) on the event date. The days of the week when this event is offered occasionally change. Therefore, it’s important to check the theme park calendar to verify which parks, if any, will be offering Extended Evening Hours during your trip.

Extended Evening Hours is an excellent way to tackle a number of attractions in a short period of time. The MouseHouseNews.net team has utilized this perk on multiple Deluxe Resort stays. Our overall opinion is that it is a big advantage at attraction-heavy Magic Kingdom. It is very possible to ride 10+ attractions there within two hours if you plan your route carefully and watch posted wait times. This being said, lower wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT are super helpful to ride the most popular attractions in those parks as well.
