DOLE Whip® is one of those quintessential treats that is synonymous with Disney World. It’s a cool and creamy soft-serve treat that is available most famously as pineapple (regular or swirled with vanilla soft-serve), but you can also find other flavors and seasonal options as well. It’s most often associated with Aloha Isle Refreshments in Magic Kingdom and Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Village Resort. However, today I’m going to tell you about a few other places you can find it around Disney World property.
Coronado Springs Resort
Let’s start with one of the most unexpected places to find DOLE Whip®. El Mercado de Coronado, the quick service at Coronado Springs resort, actually offers DOLE Whip®! You have a couple of options here, including seasonal DOLE Whip® or getting it swirled with vanilla soft-serve. Coronado is where I first tried Pomegranate DOLE Whip®, and let me tell you, it quickly became one of my favorite flavors! El Mercado conveniently offers both small and large sizes of DOLE Whip® cups, so you can get just a little treat or enough to share.
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel
The next unexpected place you can find DOLE Whip® is just a short walk from EPCOT. Inside the Dolphin Hotel, you will find a grab-and-go spot called Fuel. Fuel offers a variety of snacks and to-go sandwiches, among other options. The most intriguing thing you will find here, however, is self-serve DOLE Whip®! You heard me correctly – you can actually dispense yourself a cup of as much or as little DOLE Whip® (or swirl) as you want. The price is per ounce, so don’t be shy! This is the best kind of DIY, and definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
EPCOT
The most well known location to get your DOLE Whip® fix is Magic Kingdom, but it’s not the only theme park serving up this treat. If you’re in the mood for some DOLE Whip® while you’re at EPCOT, you’re in luck! Head back to World Showcase. Tucked between the China Pavilion and the Germany Pavilion, you will find Refreshment Outpost. Here you can grab a variety of beverages, festival offerings, and you guessed it – DOLE Whip®! Refreshment Outpost typically offers classic pineapple as well as a seasonal flavor. When you’re strolling around World Showcase and need a refreshingly classic treat, you now know where to look!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Our final stop today is Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. If you’re looking for that cool refreshment only DOLE Whip® can provide, head to Tamu Tamu Refreshments in the Africa section. In addition to the classic cup of DOLE Whip® or DOLE Whip® Pineapple Juice Float, you can also find some unique offerings here. For a new twist on the classic, try the DOLE Whip® Pineapple Orange Soda Float. This treat is made with DOLE Whip® Pineapple, Fanta® Orange, and strawberry syrup. If you’re over 21, you can also try the spiked version that adds Parrot Bay Coconut Rum. There is no better way to cool off on a hot Animal Kingdom theme park day (except maybe taking a break in the air conditioning…).
So whether you choose the classic pineapple DOLE Whip®, a delicious swirl, or one of the many other flavors around property, DOLE Whip® is never too far away. Of course, we’ve only touched on a couple of the many locations you can grab this snack. It’s one of those treats so synonymous with a Disney vacation, you need to try it at least once! Personally, my favorite place to grab a DOLE Whip® is still Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a cup of pineapple and vanilla swirl while sitting on the resort’s beach.
