Lots of people will choose to spend the first moments of 2026 inside EPCOT or Magic Kingdom. As an alternative, many Disney resorts will offer varying activities to entertain guests counting down to midnight. However, we’ve got a more exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration to share with you!
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, California Grill will be offering special dining events on December 30th and December 31st. For those who are unfamiliar with California Grill, it’s a signature dining restaurant located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you’ve ever dined there, you know the private fireworks viewing area is second to none!
Before we tackle everything else included as part of the New Year’s Eve celebration at California Grill, let’s take a look at the spectacular menu offerings for the event:
First Course:

Second Course – Market Inspirations (Choice of One):

- Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli
- Norwegian Brown King Crab
- Sweet Potato & Nantucket Scallop Bisque
Third Course – Chef’s Creations (Choice of One):
- 30-Day Dry-Age Snake River Farms Wagyu Filet

There will also be additional, optional enhancements available for purchase.
Along with the four-course meal, guests will be treated to a live band and the opportunity to take photos with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Additionally, guests 21 years of age and older will receive a complimentary glass of champagne to toast to the occasion.
Perhaps the biggest draw to this celebration (or any dinner reservation at California Grill) is the opportunity to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the observation terrace. There will be fireworks viewing at the end of each seating, for an exceptional way to cap off your evening!

- December 30th: $229 per person
- December 31st – Early Seating: $299 per person
- December 31st – Late Seating: $349 per person
To reserve this dining experience, you will need to call: (407) 824-2284. If you search for California Grill dining reservations on Disney’s website or the My Disney Experience App, you will see 12/30 and 12/31 grayed out and unavailable to reserve online.
Other things to know:
- Keep in mind that fireworks may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- If you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, or are a “no show”, you will still be charged the full price of the experience.
- California Grill is a Disney Signature Dining experience. As such, the restaurant requests that guest attire is neat, clean, and in good condition.
