Meeting This Character at Disney World Might Leave You SPEECHLESS

One of the most special things to do in Walt Disney World is meeting characters. Be it your favorite princess, a Disney Jr. character, or the big cheese himself, nothing says “I went to Disney World” like a character meet-and-greet. Many times, you may find it difficult to strike up a conversation at these meet-and-greets. However, there is one character in particular where you might really be left speechless during your meeting.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will find many things Star Wars. From the colorful lightsabers in Savi’s Workshop to the battle on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, every Star Wars fan will be on cloud nine. If you venture over to Star Wars Launch Bay, you will find a few character meets. One of those characters is none other than Darth Vader.

This is a very unique character encounter; really for no other reason than it being Darth Vader. We’re used to meeting characters at Walt Disney World, but this one actually did leave us without anything to say. It was as if this was our very first time meeting a character. Here’s how it went:

Once getting to the front of the line and while waiting to be invited in, the sound of heavy breathing hit the eardrums and a tall figure came into sight. “This way,” he said as he gestures towards the meeting room. Fear and intimidation set in. Per instructed, I entered the room. The heavy breathing followed close by. “There!” He points at a spot on the floor where I am to stop. It seemed like he was a man of few words… at first. Once I stood where he demanded I stand, the interrogation began.

I won’t give any spoilers for those who have not done this character meet-and-greet, but you could possibly be asked what you know about some rebel spies in the area, or if you in fact may be one. It feels really real, and very cool! Not to worry if you get tongue-tied. Mr. Vader carries the conversation all by himself quite well, so definitely do not skip this encounter even if you are on the shy side. It is well worth it, and please tell Mr. Vader MouseHouseNews.net said hey!
