The holidays are in full swing at Walt Disney World! The parks are getting decked out in their holiday finest, and gingerbread displays are almost here. We’re expecting to hear more about this year’s EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays very soon. However, we already have details about the treats, entertainment, and merchandise available during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights events. In fact, these parties officially begin this weekend!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party makes its 2025 debut this evening. We can’t wait for the fan-favorite Christmas parade (dancing reindeer = yay!) and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show! There will also be live entertainment galore. If you’re ready to get your jingle on at this event, you should be aware that some attractions are also available throughout the party. It’s not guaranteed that wait times at the party will be any lower than during regular park hours, but you may wish to squeeze in a ride or two during the festivities. Since some attractions have special overlays that are only found during the party, rides can be an excellent addition to the merriment.

First, let’s talk about the rides that undergo festive transformations for the party:
- Space Mountain transforms into “Space Mountain – Holiday Run!” and will feature special lighting effects and a lively music soundtrack of holiday music
- Tomorrowland Speedway transforms into “Tomorrowland Speedway Race Through the Holidays” and will include thousands of lights, festive decorations, and a special holiday soundtrack
- Mad Tea Party lets you spin yourself silly with one of four different lights and music combinations exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
- Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor gets in on the holiday action with a special seasonal show
- Jingle Cruise sails along with merry shenanigans, holiday decorations, and puns galore (if you can’t make it to the party, this ride overlay is also available during the regular park day)
Magic Kingdom is, of course, filled with attractions. In addition to the rides that are specially decked out for the holidays, there are a number of others that will be available during the party. You can expect to see the following attractions available:
Adventureland
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Frontierland
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Liberty Square
- Haunted Mansion
Fantasyland
- The Barnstormer
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- “it’s a small world”
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Prince Charming Regal Carrousel
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid
Tomorrowland
- Astro Orbiter
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
- TRON Lightcycle/Run

So, as you make your way around Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to enjoy the many entertainment and food options, you may want to sneak in a ride or two. As a lover of Mad Tea Party, I’m personally excited to see how many of the four exclusive light and music combinations I’ll be able to experience! The MouseHouseNews.net team is excited to share our experiences from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with you, so stay tuned!
