Passholder PREVIEWS Announced for Zootopia: Better Zoogether!

Listen up, Passholders! One of the perks you get with your annual pass is opportunities for unique experiences. As Disney just raised pricing on the annual passes, you’ll want to use these perks as much as possible. Luckily, Disney just announced a Passholder exclusive first-look at the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is a new 4D show that will be taking over the Tree of Life Theater beginning November 7th. The 428-seat theater on Discovery Island is formerly the home of It’s Tough to Be a Bug, a 3D attraction based on the 1998 Disney/Pixar movie A Bug’s Life. As the MouseHouseNews.net team previously reported, that show had its final performance in March.

The new show will be located in the Tree of Life Theater, inside the Tree of Life

The new Zootopia show will immerse Disney guests in a celebration of Zoogether Day. Expect to see friends like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde along with special performances from across Zootopia. Disney has teased an epic musical finale too!

Passholder previews for Zootopia: Better Zoogether! will take place on November 5th and 6th using the virtual queue system. As we’ve seen in the past whenever new attractions open, it’s likely to be quite popular as everyone tries to be among the first to experience it!

To make sure you can secure your place to be among the first to see the brand-new show, there are a few steps you’ll need to take:

  • Make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for an opportunity to join the 7:00am virtual queue for the day you wish to visit.
  • On the day of your reservation, use the My Disney Experience app to request to join the virtual queue. Each day preview day will have 2 opportunities to join the virtual queue.
  • The 7:00am virtual queue will be available for Annual Passholders with an Animal Kingdom theme park reservation for that day
  • The 1:00pm virtual queue will be available to any Annual Passholders with valid admission (a theme park reservation is not required to request to join the 1:00pm virtual queue)
  • You do not need to have entered a theme park in order to join the virtual queue

Some important things to keep in mind:

  • Passholders must have a Walt Disney World Annual Pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on time of visit. Applicable pass blockout dates apply. Theme park reservations are limited and subject to availability.
  • If a Passholder has a reservation to another theme park, they must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Passholder may also visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom without a theme park reservation after 2:00pm.
  • Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day.
  • Joining a virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the previews. Boarding groups are limited, subject to aviailability and are not guaranteed.
  • Offering, dates, hours, and virtual queue distribution times are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

We’re excited that the changes being made at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are moving right along. Construction to transform the former DinoLand U.S.A. section into the Tropical Americas is also ongoing. Be sure to head over to ride DINOSAUR one last time while you still can after you enjoy the new Zootopia: Better Zoogether attraction!
