Earlier this month, MouseHouseNews.net published the dates for Walt Disney World’s Passholder appreciation event dubbed V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days. At the time, no other details were released. Now, Disney has provided additional information for this summer-long event for Disney World annual Passholders.
As covered by MouseHouseNews.net last week, V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days is this year’s version of the annual summer appreciation event that will be held at Walt Disney World from May 14 – July 31. It is created to reward annual Passholders with additional savings, special perks, and exclusive events. Here’s the additional information we’ve learned will be part of this summer’s event.
Passholder Exclusive Magnet
One of the main staples of the Passholder events is the distribution of a Passholder exclusive magnet. This event will be no different with a brand new magnet! The new magnet will prominently feature Maleficent, just in time for the new “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this month. To obtain your exclusive magnet, visit Creations Shop in EPCOT between May 14th – July 31st and present your annual pass and photo ID. These magnets are available while supplies last; limit one per Passholder.
Dining Discounts
There will be two cycles of dining discounts for Passholders which will offer a whopping 40% savings off food and non-alcoholic beverages at select table service restaurants on Mondays – Thursdays when dining in. The first cycle starts May 14th and ends on June 30th. Here are the locations that will offer this discount:
- Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Lunch & Dinner Only)
- Toledo Tapas, Steak & Seafood at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort (Dinner Only)
The second cycle of dining discounts starts July 1st and ends on July 31st. Again, this is a 40% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages at select table service restaurants on Mondays – Thursdays when dining in. Here are the locations for the second cycle that will offer this discount:
- The Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom
- Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT
- Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort (Breakfast & Lunch Only)
Passholder-Exclusive Tumbler by Joey Chou
Show off your Passholder status as you sip from a new Passholder-Exclusive sipper by Joey Chou! This is a non-refillable tumbler that is available for mobile order during V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days while supplies last. You are able to get the tumbler filled with your choice of non-alcoholic beverage from the following locations:
- Dockside Diner at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Connections Eatery and Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT
Passholder Lounge
A returning perk for this year’s event is the opening of a Passholder-exclusive lounge. On May 14th – July 13th, Passholders can visit Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT to cool off and relax in an air-conditioned space while enjoying complimentary snacks & water. The lounge will be open from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and will also have charging stations, a special Disney Photopass perk, and an exclusive Passholder button as a souvenir. Capacity will be limited and availability to the lounge is on a first-come, first-served basis, but you will definitely want to stop by if you are in EPCOT during this time period.
DisneyStore.com Discount
Even if you are an Annual Passholder who is unable to make it to the V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days event, there is a savings opportunity you can take advantage of. Passholders will be able to save on select styles purchased at DisneyStore.com while enjoying a 20% discount. This discount will be offered from 12:01 AM Pacific Time on June 2nd through 11:59 PM Pacific Time on June 22nd. To use this discount, be sure to have your Annual Pass associated with your MyDisney account and then enter the promo code WDW20 when you are at the checkout page of DisneyStore.com (you must have at least one eligible item in the bag before the promo code will be applied). The usual exclusions do apply, including gift card purchases.
