Let’s be real, Disney Adults. Disney’s Boardwalk has seen better days. Disney’s Boardwalk is the entertainment complex located in the EPCOT Resort Area, right outside of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Located along Crescent Lake, the Boardwalk hosts restaurants, shopping, recreation, and nightlife. However, there have been some recent vacancies and sparsely-visited attractions on the Boardwalk that have been not so impressive. Now, there is news of multiple new businesses to spruce up the area.

Say Hello to Hurly-Burly
Perhaps the biggest opening coming out of the announcement is Hurly-Burly. Described as a family-friendly activity spot by day, night club by night, Hurly-Burly sounds like a multi-purpose spot which aims to get visitors through the door the entire day. This will be in contrast to the former occupant of the spot, Jellyrolls, which was a club only open at night.

Set to open sometime later in 2026, Hurly-Burly will offer activities such as trivia and host-led games during the heart of the day. However, as night falls, Disney Adults will be able to sip on coastal-inspired cocktails and light bites as the venue transforms into an age 21 and up club.

Basin Makes Its Way to the Boardwalk
Lovers of luxury bath and body items rejoice! Basin, already with a couple of stores around Walt Disney World, is about to open a new storefront on Disney’s Boardwalk. There will be a new location to walk into and become overtaken by the fresh aromatherapy options and handcrafted products.

Basin On The Boardwalk will also feature something new at Walt Disney World. This store will have interactive elements including a custom bath tea blending counter, a make your own soap station, and a soap embossing press to add some custom flair to your soap.

A New Dining Option Is Coming
Honestly, the most exciting thing I heard in this Boardwalk announcement has the least details. Disney announced that there is a new quick service location coming to the Boardwalk. My biggest criticism for the deluxe resorts in the EPCOT Resort Area is the lack of good quick service locations. I don’t feel that Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts have good quick service locations. I also am not a fan of BoardWalk Deli. It’s just not what I want to eat while I’m on a Disney vacation. Therefore, I’ll be waiting on more information about this new quick service location. Disney promises to provide additional details later this summer.
