This summer, Disney is giving Annual Passholders the V.I.Passholder treatment. V.I.Passholder Summer Days is returning beginning May 1, 2026. Disney will celebrate Passholders all season long with a number of new and exclusive items. Factor in room discounts of up to 40% off, and you’ll see why summer 2026 is the perfect time to visit for some extra Passholder magic!
Special Increased Dining Discounts
One of the perks of being an Annual Passholder is discounts on dining around Disney World property. Participating restaurants typically offer Passholders a 10% discount on regularly-priced food and non-alcoholic beverages. During V.I.Passholder Summer Days, there are a number of locations that will offer an increased dining discount just for Passholders. This includes some new restaurants that have not participated in previous V.I.Passholder Summer events!
Note that increased discounts are only valid during V.I.Passholder Summer Days from Monday through Thursday during specified meal periods. Now, here’s a look at the delicious meals you can score for less this summer.

- Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only) – NEW participating restaurant in 2026

- Biergarten Restaurant (lunch only) – NEW participating restaurant in 2026
- Coral Reef Restaurant (dinner only)
- Garden Grill Restaurant (lunch and dinner only) – NEW participating restaurant in 2026
- Hollywood & Vine (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Tiffins Restaurant (dinner only)
- Tusker House Restaurant (lunch and dinner only)
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall (dinner only)
- Cape May Cafe (dinner only)
- Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood (dinner only)
- Whispering Canyon Cafe (brunch and dinner)
As Mickey Mouse would say, “Oh Boy! That’s a lot of discounts!” What’s especially exciting is that there are several character dining opportunities (The Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, Tusker House, and Hollywood & Vine) included. I’m also a fan of Biergarten because your meal includes entertainment and an immersive atmosphere!
What Else Will Make Passholders Feel Like V.I.P.’s This Summer
Disney has also hinted at other special experiences including exclusive food and beverage items, merchandise, and a new Passholder magnet. Other Exciting Changes Coming In Summer 2026
In addition to V.I.Passholder Summer Days, there are a number of other exciting events coming to Disney World this summer. We just got word that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens beginning May 3rd after a lengthy refurbishment. Not only have the tracks and ride vehicles been updated, but we’ll also get to experience the majesty of the Rainbow Caverns. Get ready for the wildest ride in the wilderness!
Big Thunder Mountain reopening is obviously a BIG deal (pun intended). However, there’s even more excitement in store beginning May 26, 2026. If you don’t already have that date marked on your Passholder-exclusive calendar, you’ll want to do so now! Here’s what else is coming as of May 26th:
- Soarin’ Across America debuts in EPCOT
- Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station comes to Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue saunters into Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom
- Free Water Park Admission on resort check-in day returns
Dates To Remember
V.I.Passholder Summer Days will run from May 1st to July 31st, so you have lots of time to visit and claim your limited-time exclusive perks. We’re already well within the window to start making dining reservations for visits through early June. If you have your eye on any of the restaurants that will give you an extra Passholder discount, now’s a great time to start planning your summer getaway!
Disney celebrates Annual Passholders with perks, freebies, and special opportunities throughout the year. V.I.Passholder Summer Days is another way in which Annual Passholders can receive a little extra magic. Personally, I love the exclusive food and drink offerings the most.
