Annual Passholders at Walt Disney World Resort have something exciting to look forward to this summer. The fan-favorite V.I.Passholder Summer Days event is set to return beginning May 1, 2026, bringing a variety of limited-time perks designed specifically for Passholders.
This seasonal celebration has become one of the biggest Annual Passholder appreciation events of the year. From exclusive magnets to exclusive snacks and special discounts, the program gives Passholders even more reasons to visit the parks during the early summer months.
Here’s what we know so far about the 2026 edition of V.I.Passholder Summer Days.
A Summer Celebration Just for Passholders
V.I.Passholder Summer Days is Disney’s way of saying “thank you” to its most loyal guests. The event traditionally runs for several weeks in early summer and features limited-time benefits only available to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. This year, the event will run from May 1 – July 31.
So far, Disney has only teased some of the full lineup of 2026 offerings including:
- An exclusive all-new Passholder magnet
- Special food and beverage offerings
- Limited-time discounts
If past summers are any indication, these are just the beginning of the perks. There will be more information released as we get closer to the start of this year’s V.I.Passholder event. These perks are designed to give Passholders a few extra “VIP” touches during their visits.
In the past, some of the additional perks have also included:
- Limited-time merchandise collections
- Unique Disney PhotoPass opportunities
- Passholder-only lounges inside the parks
- Rare character meet-and-greets
A Perk Worth Planning Around
For many Annual Passholders, V.I.Passholder Summer Days has become a must-experience seasonal tradition. Between the collectible souvenirs, special lounges, and added discounts, it’s one of the best times of the year to visit Walt Disney World with an Annual Pass.
With the celebration kicking off May 1, 2026, Passholders won’t have to wait long before the VIP treatment returns to the parks.
The Timing Is Key
There is a lot going on at Walt Disney World this summer! We have already seen the soft re-opening of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Soon, we will see the return of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom as well. Specifically starting at the end of May, so many new events and perks become available. On that day alone, here’s just a handful of the new things we’ll see:
- The return of Free Water Park Admission with resort stay
- Soarin’ Across America debuts in EPCOT
- Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station debuts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue debuts at Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom
We also can’t forget that at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’ll see the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starting The Muppets! On top of that, there are so many deals including the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket, Disney Resorts discount, Passholder-exclusive resorts discounts, and the free Disney Dining Plan offer. It is imperative that you overlay the dates of your visit so that you get your Passholder-exclusive items, experience the new attractions, and save money in the process! That sweet spot may just be in late May through late June, but everyone’s schedule is different.
