Whether you’re someone who is excited to take advantage of the current free Disney Dining Plan offer, or just planning to grab a few quick service meals during your next trip, it’s important to be aware of your options. Every Disney Resorts Collection Hotel has at least one quick service dining option. These convenient locations are your go-to spot for securing a quick bite to eat, with no reservations needed.
In addition to not requiring reservations, Disney quick service locations are extremely convenient since they are open all day long. Typical daily operating hours for most quick service locations are 7:00am to 11:00pm. Some locations may even open earlier or stay open later, so definitely check the operating hours at your specific resort. You’re able to order breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night options depending on time of day.

Adding to the convenience, you can use the Mobile Order feature in your My Disney Experience app to acquire your quick service meals at these locations. Order ahead on your way back from the parks, place your order from the comfort of your hotel room, or just avoid potentially long lines during popular meal periods with this feature.
All quick service locations will feature hot and cold food items, grab-and-go options, snacks, and dessert cases. You will also find beverage stations with fountain drinks (Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in select locations), coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. If you’re planning to purchase a Rapid Fill refillable mug, your resort’s quick service is where you can find them.

It is important to note that not all quick services are created equal, even if they share some similarties. Come along and check out the different styles of resort quick service options you’ll have during your next Disney World trip!
Food Court-Style Quick Service Locations
Variety is the spice of life. Disney World’s quick service restaurants definitely offer plenty of variety! The first type of quick service dining location we’re going to discuss are the larger, food court-style dining locations. The advantage of this format is multiple stations serving up a variety of cuisine styles. You can usually find burgers, pizza, pasta, and more. You will primarily see food court-style dining at Disney’s Value Resorts such as Disney’s All-Star Resorts. This layout is also in a couple of other places, including El Mercado de Coronado at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The way these quick services are set up makes them perfect for a “let’s split up, gang” approach. Each member of your party can grab food from whichever station they prefer, and you can meet together at the registers to pay for your meals.

These locations are designed to serve a large number of guests. As a result, they have plenty of tables available to accommodate hungry crowds. Additionally, they often feature both indoor and outdoor seating options. Whether you choose to dine-in or take your food to go, you won’t go hungry!
Similar To Food Court-Style, But Not Nearly As Many Lines
This designation is for quick services that operate similar to a food court, but on a smaller scale. Some restaurants still have food stations, but don’t divide menu selections among nearly as many counters as the larger venues (think 1-2 food stations instead of 5+ stations). The smaller scale limits the number of lines in which you may be required to stand. This is an advantage if you’re ordering multiple items.

During a stop at these locations, you still visit one or more food stations depending on what you’re ordering. After you’ve ordered your food, you’ll wait for it to be prepared/assembled. Finally, once you have your meal, you head to the register and pay. Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are a couple of examples.
Walk-Up Order & Pay Quick Service Locations
In contrast to the food court-style locations, many quick services have a walk-up ordering process. At these counter service locations, you wait in a single line to order and pay at the register. You will then receive a restaurant pager or order number. If given a pager, the device will notify you when your order is ready (otherwise, just listen for your order number to be called). Some locations like Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will require you to return with the pager to a pickup window. In contrast, others like Capt. Cook’s or Contempo Cafe will actually bring your order to your table.

You can browse the menus for Disney dining locations on your My Disney Experience app or on Disney World’s website. There are some unique items if you take the time to look! Don’t worry about eating just burgers, pizza, and chicken strips for your whole vacation. However, you certainly can if you want to… they’re delicious! One final note: since these aren’t table service locations, you still need to bus your own table and throw away your trash. Be kind to the next guests that need to use that table!
