You pick the park, your preferred backdrop, and your time slot. Disney handles the rest.

Each session currently costs $99 and you can book a session from the Enchanting Extras Collection page. Similar to Advance Dining Reservations, you can book your session up to 60 days in advance. If you have a Disney resort reservation, you can book up to 60 days in advance of your hotel check-in date, even if your photo session is later that week! The advantage for Disney resort guests is, of course, that you get slightly earlier access to available reservations. This is because if you have a 7-day trip and want to have a photo session on day five, you can schedule 60 days before your resort check-in date for day five of your trip (meaning you are actually scheduling your photo session 65 days in advance).
Each session:
- Lasts about 20 minutes (if you need longer, you can book multiple sessions)
- Includes multiple poses and locations within your selected area
- Is shot by a Disney PhotoPass photographer
- Requires park admission, and the session itself is a separate add-on
Photos are not included in the session price, so you’ll want to purchase Memory Maker to download all of the poses or else you’ll end up purchasing individual downloads. If you already use PhotoPass regularly, however, this is an easy upgrade.
Here’s a pro tip: book early. Time slots go fast, especially during peak seasons and festivals.
