The 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full springtime swing! From now until June 1st, you can experience themed gardens, fan favorite topiaries, tasty food and beverages, live performances, and much more festival fun. Speaking of festival fun, today we’re going to talk about one of the festival exclusives you can complete for an awesome prize.
If you are not very familiar with EPCOT festivals, each one typically has a scavenger hunt. These scavenger hunts are optional activities suitable for all ages. Upon completion, participants can collect a prize! Flower & Garden Festival’s main scavenger hunt is known as Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration. As you may have guessed from the title, you will be searching for our buzzy little pal, Spike the Bee. Find him hiding in (and pollinating) different gardens around EPCOT!
I Want To Find Spike & Earn A Prize Too…What Do I Need To Do?
I’m so glad you asked! To participate in Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, you can purchase a map from Creations Shop, Disney Traders, World Traveler, or one of the Festival Marketplaces. In 2026, the cost for a map is $11.99 plus tax. You map will come with a set of stickers. Once you have your map and stickers in hand, head out into the park to explore the beautiful gardens!
Keep an eye out for Spike on his pollination trail as you enjoy the festival. Whenever you spot him, look nearby for a sign indicating a specific flower. This is what you will use to mark his hiding spot on your map. Find all of Spike’s hiding places and fill in your map with each location’s corresponding sticker. When you’ve found them all, return to Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Traveler to pick up your prize. Scavenger hunt maps are available while supplies last.
This year’s prize is a really fun solar-powered flower! While supplies last, you will have your choice of one of four different designs. Designs include Spike the Bee, Mickey Mouse, Orange Bird, or Figment.
Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt
If you can’t get enough EPCOT scavenger hunts, you’re in luck! For a limited time, you can also participate in the Egg-Stravaganza Scavenger Hunt. Similar to Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, you will need to purchase a map and stickers from select merchandise locations to participate. Instead of looking for our buzzy friend, you will be searching for Easter eggs inspired by different Disney characters. Again, there’s a prize if you successfully complete it. This limited time scavenger hunt is available from now until April 6th (or while supplies last).
Of course, you can still look for Spike the Bee or the decorated Easter eggs without making a purchase. You won’t earn a prize, but you can still have a lot of fun. Keep track by taking selfies, making a list, or any other creative way you prefer. When you’ve found them all, you could treat yourself to a special festival treat. I’d like to suggest the Florida Strawberry Shortcake from the Florida Fresh booth or some Frushi from Hanami.
The 2026 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival will be available until June 1st. This means you have plenty of time to visit EPCOT and enjoy all it has to offer. We’ve been on the ground covering some of what you can expect, and there’s much more to come!
