Taking photos during your Walt Disney World vacation is an excellent way to capture those forever memories of your trip. If you’ve ever been to a Disney World theme park, you’ve likely seen numerous cast members decked out in lime green shirts holding camera equipment. These are Disney’s PhotoPass photographers. PhotoPass photographers will happily take pictures of your group with their camera or yours, for free! You can often find them in front of park icons and other picture-perfect spots around property.

You already know that you can get brag-worthy photos of your group in the theme parks. However, did you know that PhotoPass photographers are on hand to capture your magical moments in other places as well? Case in point: There is an entire photography studio set up on the second floor of the lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You’ll find it at the top of the grand staircase next to the M. Mouse Mercantile shop. If you stop by and the photographer is not there, they are likely taking roaming photos throughout the lobby. Be on the lookout!

Most of the time, this PhotoPass studio has a beautiful watercolor backdrop for you to pose with. However, during certain times of year, they will have a seasonal background set up instead.

One of the most exciting features of the Grand Floridian’s PhotoPass Studio is the ability to pose with Cinderella’s iconic glass slipper. Talk about living a fairy tale! They also have a variety of other props available, so be sure to let your photographer know if you’re celebrating a special occasion.
