Wine & Dine And DASH Through EPCOT During These Delicious runDisney Events

Running is not typically acceptable inside Disney World theme parks. That is, unless you’re participating in one of the many magical runDisney events that take place throughout the year! MouseHouseNews.net recently brought you information about crowd levels and merchandise for the Disney World Marathon Weekend and Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events. We’ve got even more exciting runDisney news to share with you today!

runDisney recently announced the themes for the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend events. This year’s events are themed to the delicious food and adventures you will find in countries around EPCOT’s World Showcase! Let’s take a closer look at each race’s theme:

Wine & Dine 5K

The 5K will take place on October 23rd. Say ‘Bonjour!’ to the Aristocats while celebrating EPCOT’s France pavilion. C’est magnifique!

Wine & Dine 10K

Gather your very best amigos for the 10K race on October 24th! Let The Three Caballeros be your guides for this fast-paced fiesta.

Wine & Dine Half Marathon

Mary Poppins is your host for a jolly good time during the Half Marathon event taking place on October 25th! Race through the UK pavilion and more to reach 13.1 magical miles. It’s supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Wine & Dine Two Course Challenge

Why stop at one race when you can challenge yourself to two? The Wine & Dine Challenge is made up of the 10K plus Half Marathon. Runners who complete the challenge will earn three medals! You’ll be racing through the Germany pavilion and beyond to earn a special medal themed to Grumpy and his friends.

If you are interested in participating in any of these races, you’re in luck! You can register starting February 10th at 10:00am Eastern. Gold and Platinum Club runDisney members can register starting February 3rd.

As someone who began her runDisney journey with the 2025 Springtime Surprise 5K, let me just say that each mile truly is magical. Even if you don’t consider yourself a runner, I still recommend checking out a runDisney event for yourself at least once. There’s camaraderie, characters, and a whole lot of fun. You may find yourself hooked! For more news and information you can use to plan your next magical Disney vacation, stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net. We’ll see you real soon!
