Princesses and princes will soon descend upon Disney World for the 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. This year, Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is February 26th through March 2nd. If you are visiting during this time, expect increased crowd levels and potential transportation delays.
Throughout the weekend, runners of all ages and skill levels will take part in a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or perhaps even all three as part of the Fairytale Challenge! runDisney has unveiled the finisher medals for all of the races, as well as some exciting exclusive merchandise to commemorate the events.
2026 Princess Half Marathon Weekend Medals
Let’s take a look at the medals first. Each medal features a stained glass window design and some of our favorite princesses. Congratulations to all runners who complete their races to earn these beauties:
Event Merchandise
Exclusive event merchandise will be available for purchase at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo during race weekend. As has been the case in the past, the Expo will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The dates and times for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Expo are as follows:
- Thursday, February 26th – 10:00am – 8:00pm
- Friday, February 27th – 12:00pm – 7:00pm
- Saturday, February 28th – 11:00am – 3:00pm
runDisney revealed just some of the merchandise that will be available to celebrate each magical mile. You can gear up with a Race Weekend shirt, a unique shirt for each race distance, or even one for the Fairytale Challenge.
Annual Passholders can purchase a special 2026 Passholder shirt design.
Other apparel items runDisney has teased include a sweater, sweatshirt, and jacket. In addition to clothing items, there will also be a commemorative pair of ears!
If you love shoe ornaments, there is a new one to add to your collection. Finally, there is going to be a new mug in celebration of Princess Half Marathon Weekend.
