We’ll Have To Let It Go… Frozen Ever After Is CLOSING For A Little While!

There are so many activities available at EPCOT. You can experience cultures from around the world, delight in delicious food during seasonal festivals, meet beloved characters, ride attractions that are both entertaining and educational, and much more.

One of EPCOT’s most popular attractions is Frozen Ever After. This ride is located in World Showcase’s Norway pavilion. This boat ride takes guests on a journey to Arendelle featuring favorite songs and characters from Disney’s 2013 record-breaking film Frozen. Spoiler alert! Just to add a little bit of excitement, the ride has a small drop and briefly goes backwards, too.

If you’re anticipating a journey to Arendelle during your next EPCOT visit, you’ll need to be aware of an upcoming closure. Beginning January 26, 2026, Frozen Ever After will be closing for a brief time to undergo a refurbishment. Don’t worry though! Disney expects the attraction to reopen in February 2026.

During the refurbishment, Disney will be making updates to the Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff Audio-Animatronics figures. The updates are inspired by technology advancements at Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen. When the attraction reopens, the Audio-Animatronics of these favorite characters will appear more like they do in the film.

If you just can’t “Let It Go”, hurry to EPCOT before January 26th to ride one last time before the temporary closure begins. Just remember that the Disney Skyliner will temporarily close on January 25th, so buses will run to EPCOT from the resorts along the Skyliner route. While you’re in the park, be sure check out Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France pavilion. As MouseHouseNews.net previously reported, that attraction received an update back in November 2025.
