Before I begin, I already know this is a controversial subject. However, I’m answering a question I hear time after time again: Can I watch (insert channel here) while at Disney World? That is when the judgment starts. “Why would you want to watch TV while you’re at Disney World?” “Who goes to Disney World to watch TV?” I’m not here to judge, but I can provide some answers for you, so long as you are staying at a Disney resort.

Some of these channels require further explanation. The Disney Events channels basically broadcast a variety of information that might be of interest to you, including current events and specials at Disney Springs, theme park hours, seasonal offerings at the theme parks, and more. They are worth checking out.
On-Demand
In addition to the channels listed above, you can also watch a number of on-demand options including explainer videos describing how to use Lightning Lanes, how to book your Bounceback Offer, and using the in-room Hey Disney smart device. You can even watch a pre-recorded presentation of the Happily Ever After fireworks! Additionally, there is a Disney+ app that allows you to log into your Disney+ account (if you have one) so you can stream your favorite shows. If those options don’t impress, you can cast to most of the TVs from a Chromecast®-enabled device.
The next time you visit Walt Disney World during a must-see TV event, now you know if you can easily watch from your Disney resort room or if you’ll have to make alternative plans. We won’t judge… I actually catch a good football game from time to time thanks to NFL Network. Enjoy your televised event, but make some time to enjoy being at Disney World! It’s only fair to do so, since you made the effort to get there. When you are ready to hit the parks, MouseHouseNews.net has all the breaking news you need to make your day magical!
