Walt Disney World puts on some of the most unique entertainment offerings around. The shows are oftentimes on peoples’ must-do lists when visiting the parks. Some of the most popular forms of entertainment at Magic Kingdom are fireworks and parades. Therefore, it’s important to know that things are changing soon.
Fireworks
At Magic Kingdom, Happily Ever After is the daily fireworks show. You can see it most nights, weather-permitting, when there is not a special event such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. However, if you are hoping to see Happily Ever After, you won’t be able to see it until 2026.
As MouseHouseNews.net reported in conjunction with news of the New Year’s Eve fireworks shows, there will be a slight shifting of fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom beginning tomorrow. Today is the final day for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for 2025. This means there are no fireworks for general admission guests at Magic Kingdom tonight. If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom tomorrow through December 29th, you will have the pleasure of seeing Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at 8:30 PM. Then, on December 30th and 31st, you will see the New Years-themed Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks.
Rest assured that, after the brief hiatus for the holidays, Happily Ever After will promptly return on January 1st! The show will be waiting to welcome you back in 2026. However, the fireworks show is not the only thing changing at Magic Kingdom starting tomorrow.
Parades
The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is the marquee parade that you can generally see daily. However, in line with the holiday changes to the fireworks schedule, Disney is giving park-goers the Christmas treatment for the parade offerings starting tomorrow. Instead of seeing Festival of Fantasy, you will be treated to daily performances of Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade at noon and 3:00 PM! This change will begin tomorrow and last through the end of the year. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade returns on January 1st.
If you are visiting the magic for the holidays, have fun and enjoy these special offerings while you can! Soon enough, things will be right back to normal. We look forward to being your source for Walt Disney World news next year and we thank you for making MouseHouseNews.net part of your trip planning routine.
