We love checking into a Walt Disney World Resort. It is at this time when it really starts to feel like you’ve left the real world behind. All of the resorts are themed with the assistance of Disney Imagineers, so you know you’ll be transported to another world upon arriving. Welcome to your vacation!
Having said that, there are some things that you have at home that would make your trip even better. The MouseHouseNews.net team has stayed at many Disney resorts, so we have come up with three items that we agree you should bring with you from home if you can. So, without further ado, here are three comforts from home that you should bring with you to your Disney World Resort

Slippers
Cozy slippers are one of those luxuries that just flies under the radar. They provide a nice comfortable surface for your feet, no matter the temperature of the floor. When you are in a hotel room and not at home, the question of cleanliness also comes into play. Yes, Disney resorts have housekeeping services just like any other hotel. But, just like at other hotels, the floors do not consistently get mopped or shampooed… even between guests. It’s uncomfortable just thinking about it, but you should know this. You don’t know how long it’s been since there was a good deep cleaning of the floors, so do yourself a favor and bring slippers.

Shampoo
If you have seen our hotel reviews such as this review for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, you already know that shampoo is among the included amenities at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. Many people really enjoy the Sea Marine scent of the wall-mounted shampoo at the hotels. However, it is well-known that many people have strong preferences for their daily shampoo; maybe because it is very moisturizing or because it prolongs the vibrant color longer. If I am describing you, be sure to pack a travel-size bottle of your favorite shampoo when you pack for your trip.

Toilet Paper
This one seems a little odd, but stay with me here. You can get plenty of TP at Disney resorts. Disney has no problem keeping it in stock, as they have many thousands of hotel rooms that need a roll or two. The problem is not that they may not have any for you. The problem is that the quality of their toilet paper leaves a lot to be desired. I’m going to be blunt: it’s not good. The toilet paper is almost see through, and that’s not a good quality. If you have a little extra room in your bags, throw some Charmin in there. You’ll thank me later.

Don’t let this article convince you to stay somewhere else; I am the biggest proponent of staying at a Disney resort when you go to Walt Disney World. I’m just keepin’ it real so you are prepared for your next trip, and that is exactly what you can expect from MouseHouseNews.net. Stay tuned for more Disney News and Reviews For Disney Adults!
