We’ve arrived! We’re officially in one of those seemingly rare times when EPCOT has no festival booths open. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival wrapped up on Saturday. Things tend to look different these times of the year, but don’t expect crowds to be low this week.
We are going into a major holiday week at Walt Disney World with Thanksgiving being on Thursday. The holiday travel rush began this weekend and Disney World is a major destination. Therefore, even though there is currently no active festival, there will be crowds. However, those who hang around until later in the week will be present when the next festival begins.
As MouseHouseNews.net has previously reported, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins on Friday. This festival is all about the holidays and holiday traditions celebrated around the world. As with all of the other festivals, you will find plenty of holiday food, the popular Candlelight Processional, and even a holiday overlay on a popular ride.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from November 28th – December 30th. Definitely check it out if you are at Disney World during this time, and also be sure to take advantage of the free holiday activities you can do at Disney Springs. It would be a shame if we didn’t mention that there are still tickets available for Jollywood Nights over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
