This Is Your FINAL Chance To See This Ride In 3D!

There are plenty of features that can set one Disney World ride apart from the others. Whether a ride operates on the first of its kind track system, or it has the fastest speed in the park, every ride is special in its own right. In the France pavilion over at EPCOT, a popular 3D ride has been taking guests into the walls of Gusteau’s restaurant with Remy. Because it is a 3D ride, you’ll wear the supplied 3D glasses while riding. However, planned maintenance happening next week will change the way you see this ride forever.

EPCOT at night

As MouseHouseNews.net previously reported, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will close briefly during next week. The purpose of this closure is to overhaul the graphics and imagery. There will also be some queue updates coming over the next few months. Part of the overhaul occurring next week will actually remove the 3D aspect of the ride. This means that if you want to catch the ride in its original form, you’ll have until Sunday to ride one more time!

After the overhaul is completed, we should see a cleaner, crisper image without the need for 3D glasses. This will change the ride experience in a big way, although some will certainly welcome the change. The 3D aspect of this ride does bring on some motion sickness for some people, so those affected may enjoy the ride more upon re-opening. At this time, Disney expects to reopen the ride on November 14th.

A Magic Shot with Remy is available from Disney PhotoPass in EPCOT’s France pavilion

If you are unable to make it to EPCOT to visit Remy this weekend, the ride will be different on your next visit. The team at MouseHouseNews.net will board the Disney Skyliner over to EPCOT next week to check out the new changes once the ride re-opens.
