Dining at Walt Disney World is a special experience. Much like the theme parks and resort hotels, Disney World table service restaurants are very unique and immersive. With that being the case, there are still two words nobody wants to hear: price increase. Unfortunately, that is exactly what we are about to see at one table service restaurant.
California Grill is a Disney signature restaurant located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is a little more upscale, so it is expected that guests dress a little on the nicer side with no swimwear allowed. The restaurant offers a 3-course dinner at a prix-fixe price, allowing guests to choose an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert. There is also a wine pairing option available as an add-on.
Currently, dining at California Grill costs $89 per adult with a wine pairing option for an additional $72. However, this pricing will be changing as of November 7th. Starting that date, dinner at California Grill will cost $99 per adult with an optional wine paring for an additional $78.
For a cheaper option, you can request to dine at California Grill’s bar and order select items a la carte. This is a walk-up only option that is first come, first serve. Regardless if you dine at the bar or in the dining room, keep that receipt! You can bring it back later that same night to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks show from the 15th floor balcony. That is a great perk that you’ll want to take advantage of!
