If you’re staying on Walt Disney World property for any length of time, you might want to consider the purchase of a Rapid Fill Refillable Mug. Thankfully, it looks like this is one of the few items that did not fall victim to the recent price increases that hit Disney World earlier this month.
These mugs allow you to get unlimited refills of fountain drinks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at any resort self-service beverage location for the entire length of your resort stay. The beverage stations are typically located in each resort’s Quick Service location and at the resort pool bars. However, not all of the soda fountains are created equal!
Some resort locations have more than the five or six standard Coca-Cola flavors available, and you need to know this if you are vacationing for a while and crave variety. Did you know there are several places on Disney property where you can find Coca-Cola Freestyle machines? Yes, these are the machines that allow you to add flavoring to an expanded variety of soda brands!
If you’re like me, you enjoy an ice-cold Lime Coke every now and again. Perhaps you’re more of a Strawberry Sprite person, or even a Fanta Peach lover? No matter what your favorite flavor is, Coca-Cola Freestyle offers the opportunity to grab a unique option each time you’re ready for your next beverage. Pro tip: Some locations, like Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, even have special limited time mixes available. Get ’em while you can!
Here are some locations where you can find Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at Disney World that our team really enjoys:
- Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
- The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Centertown Market and in select buildings in each Island area at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
To elaborate on the last bullet-point… Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has a Coke Freestyle station conveniently located in select buildings (one in each section). This is very convenient for those who do not want to make the trek all the way over to Centertown Market for their Freestyle fix.
Unfortunately, Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are not located at every Disney Resort. However, if you know where to look, you can usually find one reasonably close by. The MouseHouseNews.net team considers them to be worth seeking out. Remember that you can use your Rapid Fill Refillable Mug at any resort, not just the one where you are staying! Keep this in mind if you start growing tired of the same basic soda fountain flavors that are available at pretty much every resort.
Finally, one very important point to note about Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs is that these Refillable Mugs only offer free refills at the resorts. While you can use your mug to bring your favorite soda, coffee, or tea into the theme parks, refill stations for these mugs are not located in the parks.
