DinoLand U.S.A… It’s getting weirder by the day to utter the words. This section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park has been winding down for a while, and attractions just keep closing. Disney has plans to convert DinoLand U.S.A. into a new Tropical Americas themed area dubbed Pueblo Esperanza, and these plans are well underway. So far, we’ve seen the closings of attractions including Chester & Hester’s DinoRama, Donald’s Dino-Bash, and The Boneyard. While the land will stay open until February 2026, more closings are happening that you need to be aware of.

Disney has announced that two snack locations in DinoLand U.S.A. will be closing forever in a number of days. Be prepared to say goodbye to Dino-Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites.

Dino-Bite Snacks has been known for its ice-cream concoctions; providing cool treats in the middle of hot days at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The MouseHouseNews.net team has noticed that its operational schedule has been hit-or-miss lately.
Trilo-Bites is a food kiosk known for its ice cream, Buffalo Chicken Chips, DOLE Whips®, and adult beverages.

Unfortunately, these two snack destinations will be closed as of Monday, October 20th. This, of course, will be a permanent closure.
If you just so happen to be in DinoLand U.S.A. on or after October 20th, maybe saying goodbye to the DINOSAUR ride, there is still hope for finding a bite to eat nearby. Restaurantosaurus will remain open for the time being to welcome you into its dinosaur-themed dorm while you enjoy a nice Angus burger, hot dog, or chicken strips. As MouseHouseNews.net has previously reported, these locations will remain open through February 1, 2026. However, they will close permanently on February 2nd, marking the end of DinoLand U.S.A.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park is certainly undergoing a massive makeover in this area. For more information on how this will impact your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net. We’ll keep you posted!
