Uh Oh! It’s Going To Cost MORE To Visit Disney World in 2026

I love flipping my calendar to October for many reasons. I know the heat in many areas of the country starts easing up, giving way to more tolerable temperatures and making it easier to be outdoors. Fall color starts to be seen on the trees, and who can forget about those seasonal treats that just taste like fall. However, there is one very specific reason I dread October. Historically, this is the time of the year when we see price increases at Walt Disney World. It’s inevitable… once the calendar changes, we just wait for it.

Unfortunately, the time has come and price increases are here. The MouseHouseNews.net team has discovered that it will now cost more for Disney World Annual Passes.

The prices of a Disney World annual pass have increased

Previously, an Incredi-Pass would cost $1,549 + tax. The Incredi-Pass is the only annual pass that is available to most people. The three cheaper passes are only available to Florida residents, with one slightly cheaper option being available to Disney Vacation Club members. While $1,549 is a big investment to be made for leisure purposes, we have previously blogged about how an annual pass could actually be worth the price. As of today, the price of the Incredi-Pass has increased to $1,629 + tax. This means the break-even point of being a passholder just got raised. Kudos to anyone who got in on that recent deal with the eGift card with purchase of the pass at the previous rate!

The cheaper passes are also seeing a price increase. While the Sorcerer pass used to cost $1,079 + tax, the price is now $1,099. The Pirate Pass was $829, but is now $869. Finally, the Pixie Pass which was $469 is now $489. Therefore, with an $80 increase in price, the Incredi-Pass has seen the biggest price jump of all passes.

The magic is going to cost a little more money

Passholders aren’t the only ones seeing an increase in prices, however. In a year-to-year analysis, we’re seeing that single day tickets at the end of 2026 are more expensive than they are at the end of 2025. We compared single day tickets to the cheapest park, typically Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the priciest park, typically Magic Kingdom. A single-day park ticket for December 31, 2025 to Magic Kingdom cost $199 ($174 to Disney’s Animal Kingdom). However, the same ticket to Magic Kingdom on December 31, 2026 will cost $209 ($184 to Disney’s Animal Kingdom).

The moral to the story is that it will simply cost more to spend time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Be sure to take this into account when doing your budgeting, and stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net for the latest info to help you plan your next Disney World vacation!
