Going to Disney World in November and December is one of the best periods to visit. It is during this time when all of those festive decorations are displayed all over the parks and resorts, gingerbread houses and trees show up in resort lobbies, and the ever popular parties begin. If you are hoping to attend one of the two holiday parties (or both), you can purchase tickets now!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is back this year at Magic Kingdom on select nights. This party celebrates everything Christmas and even brings “snow” (in the form of snoap) to Main Street U.S.A. The select dates when you can attend this party are between November 7th – December 21st. It is a separately ticketed event, meaning you must buy a ticket specifically for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (a regular ticket to Magic Kingdom will not get you into the party). On the dates when there is a Christmas Party, Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 PM. However, as a ticket-holding guest to the party, you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM on the date of your party. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will have you partying until midnight.
Ticket prices range from $169 to $229 per person depending on the date. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members receive a $10 discount per ticket. Jollywood Nights
If you are more in the mood for a holiday party that is more adult focused, you’ll definitely want to check out Jollywood Nights. Jollywood Nights is the annual holiday party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is considered to be more of a sophisticated vibe, and you’ll find people dressed in glitzy Hollywood glam while celebrating the holidays. This party starts on November 8th and occurs on select nights through December 22nd. Just like with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights is a separately ticketed event, so you cannot attend unless you have a ticket specifically for Jollywood Nights. The party officially runs from 7:30 PM – 12:30 AM, however, partygoers can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios at 5:30 PM on the date of their party.
Ticket prices for Jollywood Nights range from $159 to $199 per person depending on the date. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members receive a $10 discount per ticket. For this price, you will be entertained with holiday musical stage shows, holiday sing-alongs, live holiday music, and character meet and greets. You’ll also see “Glisten!”, a world-class ice skating show in front of the Chinese Theater. Of course, there will be a fireworks and projections holiday spectacular. Be sure to take advantage of the PhotoPass opportunities, including the party exclusive Magic Shots! The PhotoPass photos taken during Jollywood Nights are yours to keep for free!
