There have been 365 days that have passed since anyone has been able to experience a 64.9 MPH thrill in EPCOT. Test Track officially closed one year ago today, June 17, 2024, for refurbishment. The expectation was to have the reimagined Test Track open in Summer 2025. Admittedly, my thought was that we would be without Test Track until at least September. However, Disney just went and proved me wrong.
Disney has announced a reopening date for Test Track in EPCOT! The ride is scheduled to open to the general public on Tuesday, July 22nd. The ride, now sponsored by General Motors (replacing Chevrolet), will also have a new musical soundtrack and new scenes in the attraction.
While the finishing touches are currently being put in place, there will soon be special previews for Cast Members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Club 33 Members, and Golden Oak residents.
