One of the best parts of a trip is the collective memories that are made. As such, it’s a good idea to preserve those memories. This is often achieved through photos. Did you know that there was a way to reserve a private photography session at your favorite Disney World park? If you are visiting Disney World this summer, you can save money on a photo shoot!
Disney PhotoPass is a photography service offered at Walt Disney World. The service is staffed by Disney Cast Members who are easily visible due to their green shirts (except for in Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). PhotoPass photographers take your pictures so your entire group can get in the pictures. No more will the photographer of your group be left out!
While you can have photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers, you can also have the added benefit of reserving a private 20-minute session. During this session, a photographer will take your group to different places in the parks to capture those photos with next to no other guests in your photos. The name of this service is Capture Your Moment, and it is offered at all four theme parks. The specific areas you can chose from are as follows:
- Magic Kingdom (Main Street U.S.A., Fantasyland, or Liberty Square)
- EPCOT World Showcase (Italy, American Adventure, Japan, Germany, or Morocco pavilions)
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Tree of Life and choice of currently available lands)
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Toy Story Land, Echo Lake, Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Blvd, or Galaxy’s Edge)
The cost for a Capture Your Moment session is usually $99 for up to 8 people in your group. However, from now until September 1st, you will get a $20 discount. That means your 20-minute session will cost just $79! It is important to note that downloads or prints are not included in the price of a Capture Your Moment session. You will either need to purchase the poses you want individually, or purchase the Memory Maker option to get all of the downloads. If you are a passholder who has the PhotoPass Downloads add-on, you will also be able to download all of the poses for free.
