The year 2025 is going to be a year of many changes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We will not only say goodbye to Muppets Courtyard, but also welcome new experiences to the park. This week, DHS will usher in a new era for a pair of new shows!
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
Fans of Disney villains will have their answer to a much anticipated plea as a new villains show debuts on Tuesday. “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” is a new show where the likes of Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent are in the limelight. The show, located in Sunset Showcase and replacing “Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy”, tells the story of being misunderstood. The villains will share their stories, from their perspectives, and find out whose life is the most unfair amongst them. However, it is you who will ultimately decide who has been treated the worst. You will be able to select from 15 show times if you’ll be at Hollywood Studios on Tuesday.

The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
If you are more of a princess fan, you can join Ariel and friends in a reimagined show based on The Little Mermaid. “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” can be seen in Animation Courtyard, replacing “Voyage of The Little Mermaid”. The show will feature all new costuming and props, along with digital puppetry and the introduction of favorite songs. Be prepared to sing along to musical numbers like “Kiss The Girl”, “Poor Unfortunate Souls”, and “Part of Your World”. “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” will be shown multiple times between 9:15 AM – 7:15 PM starting Tuesday.

This is a big week for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you are sticking around after Memorial Day, be sure to check out these new shows… just pack your patience! Stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net for more information about new show openings that affect your Disney World vacation.
