When you visit Walt Disney World, it is easy to fall into the trap of believing that the theme park operating hours don’t change much. This is especially the case with the theme parks not named Magic Kingdom, which can have hours that wildly fluctuate depending on the time of year and predicted crowd size. However, there are sometimes special events (public or private) that can cause a change in operating hours. Today, one park will be closing much earlier than expected.

If you plan to enjoy the International Flower and Garden Festival today, you will have less time to enjoy those topiaries! Signs have been put out around EPCOT notifying visitors that the park will be closing at 5:30 today. This information can also be found in the MyDisneyExperience app.
MouseHouseNews.net has determined the reason for today’s early closure is a special ticketed event being held from 7:30 – 11:30 PM. Just be aware that if you are headed to EPCOT today, you will need to leave early. This, of course, means no public showing of Luminous: The Symphony of Us tonight.

The early closing may be a good reason to spend the evening at the pool or explore more amenities at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. For those who can park hop, hopping on a bus, boat, the Disney Skyliner, or the monorail to another park may be in the cards as well. However you chose to spend the evening, be sure to stay tuned to MouseHouseNews.net for the latest Disney Vacation News and Reviews for Disney Adults!
