Then, on the final night of your trip, you discover a problem. There’s simply not enough room in your luggage for all of the souvenirs you bought. What now? We’ve got your answer.
You can ship purchases made from Walt Disney World resort merchandise shops directly to your home. Simply bring your receipt to any Disney Resorts Collection Hotel merchandise location to prove that you made your purchase from a Disney World gift shop. This includes purchases from theme park gift shops and Disney-owned stores in Disney Springs such as Tren-D, Marketplace Co-Op, World Of Disney, and DisneyStyle. What if you purchased a bulky item at Disney Springs and don’t want to haul it back to your resort? There is a shipping location in Disney Springs! They can also ship items purchased at Disney-owned stores directly to your home. The Marketplace Co-Op Shipping location is located down a small sidewalk next to Tren-D in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. The entrance is on the right side of the sidewalk before the restrooms.
I recently shipped some mugs to a relative in Atlanta from the Marketplace Co-Op Shipping store, which resembles a UPS Store inside. The Cast Members will provide you with a shipping form. Again, you will need to present the merchandise receipts from a Disney-owned store. In my case, I presented a receipt from World of Disney. After completing the form, you will receive the shipping fee. My cost to ship four mugs was $12.95. Although I was quoted 10 – 15 days for delivery, my family member received the UPS shipment in three days.
The downside of this process is that you receive a non-trackable tracking number. The document you receive has an internal tracking number useful only to Cast Members. However, I would definitely use the service again. They pack your items carefully, place them in a box, and ship them (all for a really, really reasonable price).
