Recently, MouseHouseNews.net reported on a new fireworks experience at EPCOT. Dubbed the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience, this reservation-only add-on is held at Disney World’s newest lounge. GEO-82 is an adults-only lounge for guests age 21 and older, and it is located right off of Spaceship Earth. The venue promises great fireworks views which, naturally, is why Disney created this experience. The lounge opens on June 4th, but advance reservations opened today. I’m sorry to report that if you want to go before July 6th, you are out of luck.
When we checked shortly before 11 AM today, there was no availability through July 5th. This shows that, even at $179 per person, this is a hot event. Reservations are required and there is no walk up availability. If you plan to visit EPCOT during July or August, get your reservation as soon as possible. Generally, this would be 60 days before your arrival.
Remember that if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you are able to book reservations starting 60 days before your hotel check-in date for the entirety of your hotel stay (up to 10 days). Therefore, if you are staying in that hotel for 10 days, you can start booking your reservations for all 10 days beginning 60 days before your check-in date. This is beneficial because you could possibly book up to 70 days in advance if you reserve the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience on your 10th day. You would be able to book before most others can!
